Healthiest/favorite peanut butter? I've been having Skippy for a while but it's got too much sugar for me
If your peanutbutters ingredients say more than just "peanuts" you're doing it wrong
>>42474394
Funnily enough skippy is the only real peanut butter I can get over here, the rest is just peanut cream, which is low protein and lowish fat like its been diluted but very high sugar... ree desu.
>>42474394
Skippy seems sweeter but has the same amount of total sugar as anything else, it's all about 3g/serving (which is 2 tbsp). Even the pure peanut butter has this much sugar, it's just not added but who gaf

iktf. 3 years of lifting on and off and still can't even squat/bench/dl lmao1pl8. I recently am taking it seriously and sprained my shoulder in the process.
Why am I even alive brehs.

Eat and sleep is the problem then, if your form is good, you push yourself and up the weight if possible.
>>42474240
Yep, that's what I'm planning. My diet/form/sleep was garbage for my teen years. I'm turning 20 in a few months and actually takin it seriously now.

Is 531 a meme ?
>>42473487
No, it works for getting stronger consistently provided you eat, rest and put forth the necessary effort.
Like any routine.
Is it optimum for a beginner? No because you can make workout to workout linear gains as a beginner.
Does it really matter if it isn't optimum? No, because the time difference in reaching the end of potential linear gains will still only be in the region of a few months vs something like SS, and a few months is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Tl;dr - no its not a meme. Any routine works if you put in effort now fuck off and lift.
The updated 531 using joker sets, last set first and doing 6 weeks before making week 7 a deload is a solid program. Its a general strength program, not a power lifting program or bodybuilding program but if you use it for general strength I think it works great.
Its also not a beginner program, but if you transition after 6-8 months on a linear progression program the results should be good.
The big thing with the program is you need to read the book and understand the principles of it and understand how he does accessories and other movements. Some people need it more structured and layed out, others are okay with it being more freeform. To each his own.

>First Book : you'll focus on getting stronger and breaking rep PRs on relatively light submaximal loads
>Later Books : you'll focus on getting stronger and breaking rep PRs on relatively light submaximal loads, but you can max out whenever you want :DDDDDDDD

Why do these faggots think they are some kind of experts at fitness?
he knew you were doing nothing wrong, but he still probably felt the need to do SOMETHING so that he could feel like he earned his money
>>42473372
That makes me so angry just reading that. If somebody did that to me I would lose it completely. The next time I saw that smug schmuck I'd let him know my displeasure. Let's just say he'd need his own PT to help him walk again haha...

If they're so stupid, then why aren't you making a killer living by training people yourself?
I hate eating and have used various meal replacement shakes in the past to meet my caloric goals, the only issue was that the macro balance usually sucks and they are full of maltodextrin.
This stuff looks promising though, it apparently has a perfect macro split and has all the micros we need.
Has anyone made experiences with this stuff?
It's supposed to taste like blended oats.
This shit sounds too easy and cheap to be true.
>>42473271
I don't know but I hate eating too and am going to try living off meal replacements for a while to see how it goes.
>>42473324
which one will you try?

Sauce on the video?
Im doing boxing everyday that makes us do intense cardio for aboit one hour. My question is, if I want to build muscle while doing these exercises. Do I have to weight train in the morning and increase the calories in my diet to make up for that cardio? Or is such frequent cardio just going to hinder all my gains?
>>42472643
Dont listen to the retards who say cardio kills gains. Just remember to EAT A LOT and youll still gain muscle while doing boxing. Also, just weight lift at any time that fits in with your schedule. If you dont do boxing that many days in a week, try and alternate days with weightlifting.
Boxing is great if you're cutting but say goodbye to your bulk. If bulking you might want to take in an extra 1000 for good measure

You know how I know that you're from America?
Would you say a bodyweight clean&press is good?
>>42472642
Yeah
Absolutely.
>tfw can't even power clean 2pl8
Bodyweight clean isn't that good but bodyweight press is respectable.
To some people, keto is a meme. To others, it's a serious lifestyle. I embarked on my keto journey in late spring. Things were going well and I lost 30 pounds. Then I plateaued and started to feel less than well.
Long story short, I did some research and realized I was probably low on electrolytes. Another factor was that my body had become "acidic" (I know that's a meme but some people will understand what I mean by that).
Started supplementing with electrolytes and focusing on basic pH food groups high in electrolytes. Feel much better and progress seems to have restarted.
Thing is I didn't know much about the importance of electrolytes or basic food groups when I started out and I thought I had done plenty of research.
ITT: Let's discuss pitfalls and precautions with keto - ideally personal experiences from keto veterans.
Also, keto rash (more in comments)
I learned the importance of potassium.
Things that cause a loss of potassium:
- low potassium diet
- Adrenal stress
- Sugar
- Diuretics
- Ketogenic diet
Things that help:
- Pinto beans
- spinach sautéed in coconut oil
- Acorn squash
- Avocados
- Mushrooms
- Bananas
- Potassium supplements.
I started supplementing the following:
Potassium
Magnesium
Calcium
Vitamin D
Some electrolyte mixture.
Seems to help a lot.
Also ran into the keto rash. I had no idea it existed. I've read about it but no one seems to know what causes it.
A couple ideas:
Low sugar in body
High ketones
Some virus
In any case, increasing sugar consumption seems to make it go away. Hopefully you don't have to raise consumption to the point of leaving ketosis.
I fap to porn every single day. I currently have a very bad case of brain fog, I'm 19 now, if I stop would it go away? It's ruining my daily life now, my short term memory's fucked.
>>42472439
It sounds like you're addicted to porn. If you do noporn/nofap you may temporarily gain some mental clarity, but you will also have to exert a lot of willpower to fight urges.
I'd recommend trying it for a week. Even if the brainfog doesn't go away, you will have a really good fap when the week is over.
>>42472514
I remember when I was 17 when I started PMO, I had a clear mind and could plan my shit right. I won't forget shit half sentence. That's literally the only shit's different then and now. I fap every single day, EVERY SINGLE DAY, if it's not because of this I don't know what is.
>>42472526
You started fapping to porn at 17? I thought I was a late bloomer starting at 15.
Anyways, it's my opinion that porn is incredibly addictive and has had a devastating affect on my mental health. Cutting out porn and masturbation from my life always causes an immediate boost in energy and confidence, however I always relapse eventually. With each relapse it gets even harder to quit.
I've opened up a bottle of Jack Daniels, let's hang out.
