Hey /fit/ I've been lifting natty for over 13 months. I've been doing PxPxLxx. I'd like to change to PPLxPPLx. Can a natty train this luch without overtraining?

Only way it's possible to train 6 days a week is if you're roiding. Just stick with 3 if you're natty.

4-5 days a week. That's what I do. PPxLPPx. So you start the new week with leg day(LPPxLPx). And so on. You can try any variation you prefer.

Curious what you guys think of this split. I'm an intermediate lifter and this doesn't seem to give me any problems. I do 2 press days a week, then 3 days a week that are either squats+chins or deads/cleans+rows. Ends up looking like this

Triceps/flys/maybe pushups

Yes. Six days per week are no problem at all. Just don't be afraid/proud/stubborn to take a deload week when you need it or you'll run yourself into the ground after a few months.

Other ways to train 6x/week would be the arnold split, which is

Chest/Back, Shoulders/Arms, Legs/Abs, day off or repeat

or Upper/Lower can also be done 6 days per week, you just have to keep the volume and intensity reasonable.

Bruh, you can do PPLPPLx. You just have to not kill yourself every time. Stop being paranoid.

Just do approximately 6 exercises per day. I'll give you my set up

Push
>bench
>OHP
>skullcrusher
>fly
>tricep pushdown
>lateral raise

Pull
>row
>pullup
>hammer curl
>rear delt raise
>zottman curl
>facepull
>shrug

Leg (first one)
>deadlift
>lunge
>standing calf raise
>forearm curls

Leg (second one)
>squat
>romanian deadlift
>seated calf raise
>forearm curls

So long as you're not doing more than this, you are fine. 4-6 sets for the compounds, 3-5 sets for the isolations. Listen to your body, but an hour of exercise every day is actually what the US government recommends and they're dyels.

PPL is meant to be done as PPLPPLx, of course for natties as well.

I do this:

PPLPPLx

>Push:
Bench 1x3, 1x5, 1x8
OHP 1x3, 1x5, 1x8
DB Skullcrushers 2x12
DB Flyes 2x12

>Pull:
Deadlift 2x5 on first workout, 1x5 on second
Chinups 3x8-12
Rows 2x12
DB Side Raises 2x12

>Legs:
Squat 2x3, 2x5, 2x8
RDL 2x5
DB Lunges 2x12
Curls 2x12

throw in some ab work every other day, so its on day 1, 3, and 5.
