Started working out 2 days ago after spending 2 years in a basement.

Started with this program

The problem is that after i have been at the gym i am constantly hungry and constantly tired (sleep 3 times a day, eat 5 times a day)

Is this normal? Am i pushing too hard? am i being a bitch?

Growing requires nutrition and you grow during your sleep. Don't worry about it.

Currently cutting. I read that there are medium fat/low card days ,high carb/high fat days. Now what do they mean by this? I'm talking percentages here. My macros while cutting are 40%P/30%F/30%C. During low carb days should I go 10% carbs and 50% fats? I don't get it

Can this really work to safely hold a rack pull? They can hold 2500 lbs or so together but a rack pull can come down pretty hard, even with a short ROM. Anyone using these as jerk blocks or for rack pulls?

i don't care about the bar i use it cost $100 and hasn't even bent with 700 lbs on it doing rack pulls i also have a $1000 power rack. this is for something else.

I posted this in a QTDDTOT but I guess it deserves it own thread.

It’s obvious that I’m dehydrated bros, but I try to drink water and I’m just not thirsty. I’m not even thirsty for soda or powerade. Sometimes on a rare occasion I’ll drink like 5 water bottles in a day, and that is a huge amount for me. When I force myself to drink it fucks my stomach up, probably because I’m on medications that fuck with hunger and my stomach in general.

What can I do to help? Is there a certain type of drink mix that is good? Maybe a type of bath, like a salt kind? I have no idea and I’m just so fucking exhausted all the time. The whole reason I’m here is to lose weight and whenever I drink a glass of water I gain weight and my water retention looks like shit. Please help.

Then you need to find a medication that can prevent the other medication from fucking up your stomach

also, you actually need to force yourself to drink more water and it will get easier in time, you get used to it

Greetings /fit/izens.

5'8" 175 lbs. male looking for some input.

I am a mostly sedentary /v/irgin who has managed to maintain the same bodyweight over the last 4 years while managing to do basically nothing. I will be starting medical school soon, my vidya time will be diminished, and I will need another stress management technique for school. I have needed to lose 25 or so lbs. for the last 4 years and I believe the time to start is now.

But I have some concerns about the process.
#1 Because I have maintained my weight by doing nothing, will any amount of activity show some results?
#2 I will probably end up joining a wellness center associated with my school. Should I consult a trainer there? Is that necessary?

I'm still pretty new to lifting and I always use pronated grip on my deadlifts. I hate mixed grip but my progress is stalling greatly because I can only manage so much weight with an overhand grip. Are there any ways I can keep making progress without using a mixed grip?
