Hello /an/, i recently found this little guy in my garage all alone. I haven't been able to find the family for it so I've decided to take care of it for the time being. I've been looking online to see what I should be feeding it, but I wanted some input from you guys first. Are green peas and carrots and the like the way to go? What should I do?

Can someone give me a crash course on how to take of this for the time being?

So my garage then, got it.

And I have 0 intention or desire of keeping it. Just don't want the poor thing to die if I can do something about it.

I also forgot to mention that the parents and the other ducklings were inside my garage and this one was left behind when we chased them out the day before I found it. It's not hurt or injured either. Been looking to see if the parents are around and to no avail. I just wanted to take care of it for a couple days to see if the parents show, and if not, let animal services take it in.

I was out for a hike an found this little guy.
Can anyone identify?
He was close to the shore of a lake, all ripped up

I unironically think it's a little seal OP
>>
>>2349805
But I am in mainland europe.
The lake is fed by springs only, no rivers going into it. Theres a dam with a grill for everything going out of it.
I'm a city kid so I'd trust your opinion, but how would a seal get there?

So I just recorded my neighbor laughing and talking about killing dogs and cats.

Who can I contact about this?

I don't own any pets so I really have no idea about laws and all that. I know it's illegal to harm animals like this.

Let me know.

I'm in the Los Angeles area.

They stay out during the day and round 20, 21 we make them go in.. Around 21h30, I went out and called and called and only his mother arrived. I came in and thought he would come back through the cat-door, all the others were here and he always came back last, and fifteen minute slater my stepfather come in and say he found him dead, smashed on the other side of the street. it wasn't pretty

My sister has had a chihuahua for about a year now, he is just over a year old at this point and is neutered.

This dog has pretty bad anxiety and even looks sad/shaky when she's in the same room, but is not interacting with him. We're poorfags so getting him an Rx for anxiety is a no-go.

What are cheap, effective ways with dealing with doggo anxiety? Like some sort of Doggo Chamomile?

nutricalm by rx vitamins
treatibles

work on socializing him. but you really do need to take him to the vet sometime to make sure it is truly anxiety and not something else. what seem to be anxiety symptoms in dogs can in fact be pain or other conditions. start saving a little bit of money per week as an emergency fund at least. at his age he probably due for vaccine boosters as well.

Hey /an/ ausfag here, is there any pet similar to a guinea pig with a decent lifespan? (over 5 years?) We just have no room for guinea pigs and want some companionship, in the state we live in (Queensland) Rabbits, Ferrets, and Chinchillas are banned.

We had a dog for 13 years who passed a few months ago, still missing her and just want some warm and friendlies around but not another doge.

TL;DR Any pets similar to Guinea Pig that need less room and have a 5+ year life span?

With those lifespan requirements degus are probably your only choice. They live about 5-6 years on average. While they have less need for ground space like guinea pigs, they do need several floors. A 100 x 80 x 180cm cage would be a good starting point for 2-3.

Cats
Hair dryer

Every once in a while he'll come across a cat and want to approach it, but he's very nervous. If it makes any sudden moves toward him he's done for.

One cat we met on our walk was very tolerant of him. He was sniffing it, trembling, and she just let him do it. Then she got tired of him and walked under a real estate sign on the sidewalk to leave and he followed her. His ass was too big to go under the sign and he scraped it along the concrete, he jumped in the air and the sign banged on the ground, and all the progress done with that nice cat melted away. Poor guy.

Got two GALS (giant african land snails).
They normally crawl up the walls, eat, sleep, do snail stuff.
I see them doing strange thing that make me think they are sad (?). Why do they get up on top of their house (a big plastic mug) and reach their heads out and up? Looks like they are reaching for something. Looks cute, but bothers me.

Thoughts?

replying to the dude from last thread that said he doesn't have much room

you can cram a lot of stuff into very limited space

and you'll soon ask yourself "do I really need to be able to move in here or should I buy a few more spiders?"
