Relating moon rise/set to the tides. It appears that a high tide occurs during a moon set and again slightly after a moon rise. Low tides happen at the midpoint of this, when the moon is at its peak altitude.
Is it accurate to say that the moon is closer during its rise/set therefore the pull is the strongest, and when the moon is at its peak altitude the mooom is furthest away and the gravitonal pull becomes weaker.
I believe this to be because of the eliptical shape of the moons orbit. I am not sure though and don't have any sources.. it may have to do with some delaying affect of some sort idk. Anyone know?

... Virginia Russell lives in East Cleveland, and she keeps two chickens in a coop in a backyard. She considers the birds to be pets, and she showed us they produce eggs.
Russell says this week an East Cleveland Police officer came to her and said she has to get rid of the chickens by the end of the week or get cited with a criminal charge.
At East Cleveland City Hall, the Law Director said a neighbor complained. Virginia Russell was warned last year. And simply, it’s against the law in East Cleveland to keep chickens. Law Director Willa Hemmons said, "The health hazard of keeping chickens, you know, in close proximity to where people live and reside."
Still in a town that struggles to provide even basic police and fire protection, we wondered why would the city focus on something like this? Hemmons responded, "Well, I don't think there's a focus" with just one case.

Neutering does in fact greatly decrease the amount of car crashes caused by dog drivers. Without those hormones, dogs don't feel as strong of a need to drive miles away at 70mph to mate. Maybe Fido will think twice before meeting bitches he found on tinder.

My gf suffers from really bad combats related ptsd and her therapist has recommended a therapy dog to help her get back into the world since I can't be with her all the time. I can't seem to find anything online and the therapist can't help since the VA doesn't have much support with service animals. I live in the NE area if anybody could help that would be great.

I'm having some trouble with this dog.
About a month or two ago, he started to limp. About three weeks ago, he started to randomly snap at people and other dogs and try to attack them, particularly children.
Before this, he was the sweetest dog I've ever known. I have to believe that whatever is causing his limp is also causing him to be aggressive.
There's a big problem though - he isn't my dog. He belongs to my little sister, who promised she would pay for all the dog's expenses and take care of him. Soon after saying this, she quit her job. She no longer cares for this dog and leaves it at home all day while she hangs out with her friends. My parents, despite saying they "love" this dog, will not take him to the vet to get his limp checked out because they don't want to hear that it's hip dysplasia or something and have to pay a lot of money. I just started college and what little money I make at a pizza place goes to the animals I own myself. My parents make $160k a year and they will not take this dog to the vet.
So my question is, what the fuck do I do? I need this dog to get the care he needs because I love him and don't want them to have to put him down for biting people. I am not responsible for this dog, but he deserves to be treated better. Last time I was home I heard them discussing putting a shock collar on him and making him an outdoor only dog.
