He looks like a little plum with wings. You're lucky OP, not many get to be intimate with such cute creatures. How bad is his wing banged up? If it's more than time can heal you might wanna bring him to a wildlife center, and have them call you back when he's fixed up so you can locate him back to where you found the little guy.

if you really care about its survival you should take it to a wildlife rehabilitator, they will be best equipped to help jim heal. how/where did you find him? jokes aside, bats are the number one cause of rabies transmission to humans, wild bats shouldnt be handled by anyone who isnt vaccinated. i doubt he has rabies but you know, it is a possibility that cant be ruled out entirely.

Are you sure his wing is actually HURT?
A lot of bats who can't fly just get stuck because a lot of bat species can't get up into the air if they are on the ground, and need to drop off of something.
