My cat just ripped open one of my acne medication pills (powder inside). I think she had some but I honestly dont know how far she went. I feel terrible because I forgot to take it and she went right after it ;_;

I was gardening and I have found what might be an ant queen. There were also a few ants next to her.
Am I just a fool and it isnt an and queen and if I am not is there a way I can save her colony?

So I guess I kinda got confused. I bought this nano lamp for my new vivarium and it turns out the LED bulbs dont do anything other than make light which is stupid because I guess my day geckos need UVB light and worse is that all of the nano bulbs zoomed makes for this lamp fixture don't make UVB although one does make UVA.

So should I return the lamp and LEDs altogher and get something different or is UVB really that important? The tank is only 12x18 I think.

Ok /an/. I'm too allergic to hay to have prairie dogs. Now I'm trying to decide of:

1 baby mink
1-2 lovebirds
Or, the pic related gcc's (3-4 years old)

Recently my gf and I adopted a pitbull off craigslist with a bleeding heart animal abuse story. The dog looked so depressed in the pictures and we were convinced we could make her happy again. This dog has been completely broken. She cannot love and she does not respond to people. For a while we thought she was deaf but she's actually just non-responsive. She started to make a small turn around - finding us in another room and sitting by us, etc. - but has suddenly become extremely anxious and has begun to shit all over my gf house while she's at work. She had NEVER made a mess before and now she's doing it every other day. On top of that, she's definitely pregnant and is leaking cervical mucus all over the couch.

We need to give her up. I say drop her off at a no kill shelter in the middle of the night. My gf thinks that's ignoble and wants to hold out until we find a pit rescue that takes pregnant dogs. I also feel shitty about dropping her off but I don't see another option. What do you think, /an/? Do you know where we can take this pit?

Yesterday I caught my cat playing with/torturing a bird, I grabbed the bird and let it go in some bushes. Today my cat came to the window and brought a bird that I think is the same bird from yesterday, it's at least the same species and size, dead this time. I didn't take a picture when it was within arm's reach, I dropped it out the window and took a pic after. What kind of bird is this?
