Well I'm not really big on collective religion and organizations, never really was. I find the individual aspect of it somewhat interesting though, not so much the religious aspect of it. Now when two religions collide, and it forces us to leave our comfort zone because it is said one way is better than the other and one god is different from the other. If we were to strip the name, the actions, and the way of this divine being down to "Supreme Deity, creator of all things, both good and evil" would we not save millions of lives suffering, pain, war, and death? Humanity could then focus less on being divided, and work more towards solving the "How, and When".

Now with all these things thus far mentioned, it is usually through the fact that our thoughts tell us how to embrace most things, from religion, to perception, to reality and so forth. This causes the fear, the selfishness and ego, as well as our religious choices and preferences; which, instead we should leave our mind, observe it and control our thoughts, rather than allow them to control us. Through meditation, thought experiments, and dedicated practice we may control what we think, than the opposite.

I was able to move again, the shadowy figure was gone, and I felt free of it. I was still as scared and just turned around and snuggled into her. I felt that love was a protecting force, I'm not sure if this was just a comfort reaction or what.. We didn't speak really about what happened but she comforted me a little without words.

I couldn't sleep again for a few minutes so I turned spotify on on my tv. It cast a dim light which made me feel a bit more at ease. About five minutes after this, she woke suddenly because of a noise SHE heard but I did not. We both then could hear a few creaking noises from there. This is not too unusual as I live in an old house, so we just both slept after this attributing it to nothing. I still didn't tell her of my experience because I didn't want to scare her.

Today I woke up and just felt very... depressed. I eventually worked but have definitely felt kinda low all day for no reason. Four hours ago I got a nosebleed, which does happen to me sometimes in the winters. Two hours ago I had a visual distortion I've never experienced before. Why would you want to do this?

Probably not in any sort of metaphysical sense. But theoretically, if two people were to transfer their consciousnesses onto a digital media, one could then 'merge' the programs into a single program. Thus creating a whole new consciousness distinct from the components.

This may be possible within the next few decades with the advent of AI and 'mindclone' technology. If you can transfer your mind onto 'a more durable substrate' as they say, then there will be few limits to what your soul can accomplish.
