I'm about to take DMT for my first time. I've tried a few other substances before, but nothing as intense as DMT is supposed to be.
I've been preparing my body and mind to ensure I get the most of the experience. For the past month I have dropped all processed food, and sugars from my diet. I am on a plant based diet (not a vegan, just eliminating all animal products outside of honey). I have begun to meditate, and am focused on my emotions and feelings as they come, or as I am able to collect myself and monitor them.
My long term girlfriend will not take it, but is very supportive of my desire and interest. She will be my trip buddy.
I will be laying in my mattress, with only candle light in the room. She will be there with me, although quiet unless I need words of encouragement (let go, its okay, breathe, smile etc).
I will be trying to sandwich method of weed, DMT, weed. Through a standard pipe, and I intend to go for a full 3 hits for the breakthrough on my first try.
Does anybody who is experienced with DMT have any other suggestions for me?
I know I will not be going in with the intent to guide, or influence the journey.
Any advice on preparing for my trip is welcomed!

I don't think it really matters what you do beforehand, and you damn sure don't need 3 hits if it's really DMT. Weed is absolutely irrelevant. If your trip is anything like mine you will be in another universe, almost instantly after you exhale the first hit.

Everything I have read says that if you are not vaporizing the DMT, you will need to avoid a direct flame to the crystals to ensure that a minimal amount is burned/wasted. Hence the three hits that are supposedly required from this method. Regardless of the weed barrier (Which is just there to help reduce direct flame contact) some of it will still be burned and wasted.
How much did you do on your first trip?

I'm usually not on /x/ but this morning I had a weird experience.
I was on a conference call at my work site. Only 6 people on the call. A passcode is needed to join.
After about 20min there was increasing distortion on our side.
Just me and my direct supervisor in this section of the facility.
At around the 40min mark.. A low, distorted and horrifying voice came out. I couldn't make out the sentence.
But my supervisor and I seem to be the only ones to have heard it.
Our site is on land leased from a native band, and just off a major river where settlements used to be.
Did we just get a creepy ghost message? It was clearly human, and saying something. Kinda spooked us both.

I've only ever had an animal lash out at me once, and that was because I was a child around an uncles rescue cat that had a history of abuse and I must have startled it.
Apart from that one time, animals have always liked me. From birds of prey to marsupials. At a zoo one time, the most timid baby wallaby that ran away from zookeepers and just about anything came up and gave me a lick and ate some food that I gave it.
A bumble bee decided to hitch a ride on me when I was walking around college campus.
My girlfriend's cats like me more than anyone else, even her.
The reason is I would never hurt an animal for reason other than food or survival, and animals can sense that about a person.
Be nice, but have an air of authority about you. You can surely train any animal to follow your commands.

I need some help with a dream I had which was rather strange but I don't know it's meaning.
I was standing in a line waiting to see the angel Gabriel with a book in my hand ( I don't remember the books name but occult in nature like the book of Solomon) and I wanted him to teach me the ways to use it and understand it.
When I got to him he looked at me with a haunting look of disappointment, saddness and disgust was very strange. I then said to him I'll do it myself and that "I'll show them" that I didn't need help form him or his god.
Was pretty freaky as I'm an atheist and never had a dream like that before.
Any Ideas as to what it means?
