Reviews have been light on details but this caused a splash in the community as a reconstruction of prehistoric asterism. Reviews essentially just say "Yeah, it's decent, the history's solid, go read it" which tells me fuckall. I'm not balls deep in it but so far....it's not trash which is better than I can say about a LOT of books these days. It's not what I'd want out of a text like this but it comes close to hitting the mark. Starts with a discussion of Göbekli Tepe.

I was recently at a restaurant when I happened across this book. I took it home with me, and a few bizarre things have been happening since. I haven't found much (if anything) on the author, and the virtual lack of information piqued my interest.

Unknown forces theory. If you listen closely to some music lyrics, you'll start to notice a pattern, everyone seems to be singing about the same thing. I'm not saying it's illuminati or something, but there's definitely something going on. What about all the references to 'the feeling'? "all it is is a feeling" "there was a feeling, the spirit was leaving" "as long as you feel it, I'm a believer" or having 'worth'? "how much are you worth? you can't come down to earth" "I hope I die before I get sold" or all the references to 'home'? "schizophrenia is taking me home" "i want to go home" "at home obeying the fates". I think everyone is connected to two unknown forces somehow. "back and forth every day what's it for?" "hoping that an unknown force can repair things for you". Once you start piecing it together the signs and clues are plain to see and it's all you can notice when listening to music. Has anyone else picked up on this?

Hey guys,
I'm kind of weirded out right now and I need answers. This is a long story but bare with me. I live in Washington state and I was driving in a wooded area Maple valley to be exact. I'm driving a large SUV through a lonely road. I was talking to my mom on the phone and I see a large black figure on the side of the road walking towards the middle of the road. My first instinct was that it was a bear. It just stopped and as I was getting closer to it, it just stood there. So I slowed down. I was about 7 or 8 feet away from it and I got a good look at it. It was large and black. It had a huge muscular body. Kind of like a Doberman is the closest I can describe it. It had cropped ears, It had short shiny black fur. It turned to me and it's face was so bizarre. Gargoyle like. It's teeth was hanging out. I am literally shaking as I write this. It's eyes were just starring at me and they were glowing red like when you take a picture of an animal it's eyes were glowing. It's head was a bit taller than the hood of the SUV but it stayed on all four just staring at me. I told my mom that there was a creature in front of the car my mom told me to run over it. But I don't think she understood. It was so big. I honked my horn and it just stood there. Looking at me. I began to drive up to it and it jumped from one side of the road to the other and I fucking drove like a mad man down the road. I'm terrified right now. I don't know what the hell that was. I don't believe in the paranormal or in werewolfs or none of that shit but in my heart I don't think that thing was from this world. Has anyone ever seen anything like this. I've been told it's a possible skin walker. But I don't know. I have no one else to ask. I told my friends and my mom. But they told me they think it was a lost dog or a bear. But I don't think you understand. It was so human like.

So this just happened to me about ten minutes ago.

I woke up an hour ago feeling hungry so I went downstairs to get something to eat. When I returned to my room, I noticed these scratches on my arm. I was wondering what could have caused them.

Although I do have two cats, they spend most of the night in the attic and away from my room where they might have had a chance to scratch me. Both are still up there and haven't come down since nightfall, like usual. They aren't self-inflicted and are too straight to replicate even if I tried.

I wouldn't normally be worried but this isn't the first time this has happened and they burn like a bitch. I got similar looking marks on my right leg last week when I went down into my basement at around the same time at night. When I came back upstairs, I felt a burning feeling down about two inches. When I checked, it was the same thing. Two marks, straight down the side of my leg.

Anyone have similar marks/stories? Is there another explanation?
