Hello friends. Can you suggest me some retro videogame fitting to the season? I already have Cool Spot on my list but I really need more estival feel.

Duke Nukem Caribbean: Life's a Beach

It's an episode for Duke Nukem 3D, featuring some very good levels (some of the best official levels probably), and some fun and cool vacation stylings.

The weapons are waterguns and coconut bombs, the enemies are dressed up in aloha shirts and sunglasses, when you kick you can see Duke is wearing sandals.

What's the best way to play Chrono Trigger currently?

SNES, PSX, NDS, Android... I don't care which just as long as it's the most definitive version with the most content/best translation etc.

I have the PSX version, which is pretty great save for some load times. If load times piss you off, I'd probably go SNES/Android/iOS/emulation.

Does anyone else think it was the best in the series? the open world exploration, inability to die and treasure collecting all really lent themselves to it becoming one of my favorite games of all time. sure, it has a couple of weak points, but I think it's the strongest Wario game and it's always the first that comes to mind when he's mentioned. I'm still holding out for another sequel in its style.

What did this company actually innovate? Anything?
Not trolling, I'm genuinely curious. I want to know what they innovated because I can't really think of anything.

Haven't seen a "Can't remember the game" thread in the catalog, but I had this memory pop up from nowhere yesterday.

The game was probably a dos/win95/win98 children's game. What I remember from it is a grey wall that you had to click the bricks, and if you did something (wrong?) then a dragon head would pop up. Pic related is my shitty drawing of it. I remembered it with graphics as good as the prehistoric games, but I'm not sure. The color set was bright and childish. Another thing, but I could be very wrong here, is that maybe you had to solve math problems, and if you did wrong, then would the dragon pop out. Aaaand the game might have had been a boardgame-like game, with this dragon part being a minigame. I'm not sure when I played it, but while I was searching the MS Puzzle Collection games, especially the one with the colored rats made me remember playing them, so it could have been around that. I haven't found even a single picture of the dragon game on google, and I've tried every keyword combo of: dos/win95/win98, children, board, game, math, dragon, wall.

Anyone else remembers playing such?

I loved Curse of Enchantia, played it several times as a kid.

It's also one of the few, if not the only, point and click adventure game with no text whatsoever, everything in the game is transmitted through symbols.

Yup, it has merit to not have any text during the whole game. However many things were illogical as fuck.

what is the best saturn controller? based off colors, overall gameplay, and feel
42 posts and 6 images submitted.

That one, the see through Japanese one has the best look IMO. 3d controller a close second
>>
Best? Your favorite arcade stick modded for Saturn compatibility. I use Sega VSHG with PS360+

JP Model 1/Model 2 controllers.
>colors
I prefer Saturn itself in original gray color, but Model 2 controller with colorful buttons looks slightly better.
Honorable mention to 3D gamepad
>tfw no 3D controller in Model 1 colors

I have no experience with Western Saturn accessories, but is US Model 1 gamepad really that bad? Why did they change it?
>>
>>3335278
I have zero experience with Sega branded Saturn controllers, but from what I've read the grey ones use the best quality plastics. The white ones are the weakest. The black ones exist in a number of revisions, the earliest ones being the weakest. The darker the circuit board, the better the quality.

I found a Saturn clone pad for PC/gameport and wanted to transfer the circuitboard into a real Sega branded pad, but after seeing how many revisions there are, I decided to get a different pad altogether.

A lot of the ports could have been done so much better if only they cared a little bit more.
Instead we got shit like Castlevania on Amiga that has weird visual glitches and input lag so you can't even jump and whip properly.
It's like some shit was coded by a 13 year old who was using that project to teach himself 68000 asm.
Even the DOS EGA port turned out more smooth and playable, that's how retarded this shit was.

I doubt that the market will crash. It will just stabilize itself once the hipster trend and nostalgia fags die out.

probably around the time the classic car market does.

I kinda liked Bryan back then because he's edgy. His moveset was pretty shitty though.
Used to spend hundreds of hours fighting in endless practice matches with Hwoarang, I really liked playing him. Yoshimitsu was a blast to play, too.
Eddy was really fun for fooling around and making flashy moves.

And all the hours watching the cool cinematics.
>>
>>3333508
he has some cool moves but he suffers from having almost no low attacks and no low hits on his strings
the fisherman's hook to slam will just never get old, every time I do it it feels great
I also like the way a lot of his kicks juggle the enemy, even if it isn't too practical, like d/f 3, d/f 4 or u/f 4
>>
>>3333228
Well, I guess I can never again trust my memory.
Owned Tekken 3 as a kid. Played it quite a bit, not huge amounts, but what should be enough.
No recollection of Bryan Fury.

Years later and recently, when I found out that friends mains Bryan in TTT2, I honestly thought that he was a newer post T3 character.
