Flash cart for the Sega Saturn Video CD port. Sounds interesting.

Was about to post this. Sounds like he's aways off from actually producing them for sale but I might pick up a Saturn when he does.
>>3351878
was hearing about this earlier. hopefully this will be cheaper than rhea / phoebe
>>3352128
>cheaper
It's the guy who made the Drag n Derp, it won't be cheap for what it does. I'd expect $150+ minimum, probably more, given that he's already invested several years of time into it.
>>3352097
A few more board revisions, some fine tuning of the software, and negotiating production, we might be seeing it for sale this time next year.
>>3351878
Really interesting watch just for the technical details alone desu.
So /vr/, Is the red part on revenant's lower part a kind of leather, or flesh?

Why is this so expensive when it apparently sold very well? Shouldn't copies be easier to find?
What world do you live in where old copies of popular and highly-selling games go for affordable rates on the secondhand market? Because surely it isn't this world.
The PS1 version of VP sold roughly 710,000 copies worldwide, and 636,000 of those were sold in Japan. Which means the total US print run was somewhere around 75,000.
On top of that, it was reprinted at least twice in Japan, under the PSOne Books and Ultimate Hits labels, while the US never got a reprint.
just burn a CD-R
Any Byonders here? I am uploading every Host File that I currently have in my possession and I plan on releasing them to the public. There are some HF's that go all the way back to 2001, while others are from the mid to late 2000s.
If anybody has any Host Files that they would like to see hosted, please let me know
oh come on, last time I made a BYOND thread it was poppin, now nobody wants to post?

Why is he always so agitated?
I have a chance to get a working Genesis model 1 with a working Sega CD model 1 for under $60
Is it worth it? Not planning to flip it but I do think I'll try burning some games. Maybe Lunar, Silpheed and Snatcher to start.
Any recs? I like Shmups and RPGs.
get an everdrive
snatcher is a good start
phantasy star iv
musha
gleylancer
streets of rage 2
combat cars
road rash 3
herzog zwei
>>3350403
Yes, it is worth it.
>>3350403
Despite having heard a lot of shit about the CD add-on there's plenty of good games for it, just avoid the"full-motion video" ones
As for the Genesis, to name a fev
Gunstar Heroes
Comix Zone
Pulseman
M.U.S.H.A.
Rocket Knight Adventures
Ristar
Strider and Strider Returns
Sanics and Streets of Rage Games
>under 60$
Definitely worth it. An everdrive+SDcard is ~40, and CDs are really cheap these days.
Has anyone done it? Did you regret it? I'm contemplating either getting rid the whole thing or switching to Everdrive. The main reason is I don't have time to play them anymore.
>>3350356
I've sold my retro games but I've regretted it pretty quickly.
I only ever buy the top 10s for each system ,though. I never collect huge heaps of shit I cant play.
In the mid-to-late 90s I sold or traded away many of my games that I had convinced myself I had either outgrew or outplayed. With just a couple of exceptions I've regretted doing that and I've been slowly reacquiring many of those childhood games I once shunned.
>>3350356
You should keep the ones you cherish for sentimental reasons. Weed out the ones you know you'll never care about
I just purchased this mount for my Virtual Boy.
It allows me to use any camera mount/tripod with the Virtual Boy.
The main thing I was looking for was a way to swing it down in front of my eyes or move it so when I'm leaning back in a chair it can be positioned in front of my eyes.
Do you guys have any ideas for how I could mount this on what kind of tripod or stand that's adjustable?
I only ever play VirtualBoy laying down on my back with the legs of the tripod on my chest. Leaning into it upright is just asking for back pain.
>>3350330
I can't let it sit on my chest, I'm too skinny.
>>3350190
Emulate on cardboard
What is the magnum opus of the SHUMP genre, /vr/?
>>3350187
Anything on the Turbografx-16/PC Engine. That console had so many gems in the genre that I recommend checking it out.
>>3350187

They're armed with Five Five Sixers and pineapples
overrated games general?
>>3349902
Why the dreaded Pinepples.
Wow! He must be crazy to fly a Hind in this kind of weather!
What are some /vr/ approved game collections?
Best $10 I ever spent.
Unlocking the games was bullshit though.
>>3349818
>that perfect minimalistic cover style
the pal version pulls it better, with all letters being the same size, but the multiple colors kinda fucks it up.
and i wonder how many arms and legs the japanese special boxset cost?
>>3349849
>and i wonder how many arms and legs the japanese special boxset cost?
Just looked, there's one on ebay for 150 BIN. Not too bad I suppose. Dunno what they sold for at the time, obviously.
I hired Trevor, Grunty and MD at the start. Am I screwed?
Are you playing on some extreme difficulty setting?
>>3349639
No just vanilla 1.12, Lots of Guns, Normal, Realistic combat my IMP Merc is an Auto Weapons + Martial Arts guy
Nah, most teams in JA2 are perfectly viable. Get Meltdown as well, she is ridiculously powerful in the earlygame.
>have very distant childhood memories of some game you either just played for a weekend or used to see in magazines but can't remember the name of it
>finally find out which game it was
>feeling of nostalgia doesn't really come up because you remember a few small details differently and can't be 100% sure it was that game
Does anyone else know this feel?
>>3349602
absolutely. Feels bad bro.
>>3349602
Yes
>>3349602
That's how I felt about Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG
