On a serious note, I'm really curious. Does anybody know at all where they went? I really miss 2D, he had such a funny way of writing. I remember laughing at the stupidity of Trout and Bend being a hippie, and cheering on Dervish being mutha fukken Dervish.

I couldn't sleep, I just kept hearing things outside of the walls, I'm not sure how anyone could live like this, with no heater or guaranteed saftey...and yet, I remember having to sleep through far worse. and really I should be happy to be around more than three former players for once, but all that does it make the looks of the rest of the town glare at me cut deeper. Anger, hate, fear, distrust, murderous intent. and it just...pisses me off, deep down somewhere.

I sigh, running my hand over my stubby little horns, and

"Ah" I yelp, in surprise as I feel a light prick on my palm.

I pull my hand away and look at it, What was that just now, I put my hands back on my horns and..they feel a little longer, and just like that I feel my stomach drop in my chest, replaced by a cold emptiness.

I stare at my hand, as it starts to tremble and I suddenly get very thirsty, but the only thing they have here is either boiled swamp water or a tasteless booze that EATS metal. My horns are growing.

And..and that means, that means. I swallow, and close my eyes, as I hear Poi sloshing around, Minor snoring and people walking down in the bar room, and talking and..and I just can't..I can't

I take a deep breath and fall back against the dark, water stained window, the tattered rags being used for drapes brushing against the back of my head as I look at the dark, almost polished looking wood in the room I'm sharing with Minor, looking at all of the gouges in the walls, to not freak out and scream.

What do you do?

By the time Marissa gets back to the shop, you've learned enough Enochian to spell a few simple words. Things like "praise", "the", and a few names of Gods.
"I'm back," she says. "Did any customers come in?"
"A couple," you say. "We sold a few crystals and one book. Crowley, Book of Lies."
"That's better than nothing."
"So, any news from town square?"
"I've got some pictures." She rummages through her purse and takes out her phone. "Take a look."
You examine the pictures. One is clearly a sigil, and from what you've seen, it looks like Baal's. There's writing as well. You start flipping through your book on Enochian.
"It's a symbol of Baal. The writing is clearly Enochian, it's some kind of declaration of war."
"Well that's spooky, but I don't see anything linking it to Jacob."

You sit back and relax on the couch. On your left is Safi, once again sleeping with her head on your leg. On your right is Abigail, who is resting her head on your shoulder.

Apparently your duties now include those of a human pillow... not that you mind, of course.

"So what did your parents end up wanting to talk about?" You ask Abigail. "Other than being worried"
"We talked a bit about what we're going to do about the Hart estate now that Harvey is dead" Abigail says.

"They have any plans?" You ask.
Abigail nods. "Tomorrow morning they'll be going down to talk with the steward of the house" She says. "I was planning on joining them"
"I see" You say.

You sit in silence for a few moments, before Abigail speaks again.

"So... am I going to have to get used to sharing you from now on?" She asks.
"Yes" You say.
Abigail pouts.

"Kidding" You say. "Once things settle down, we'll have to work something out. Right Safi?"
"No" Safi mumbles firmly. "Talk to me when your toes aren't garden gnomes"

"This is probably something to talk about when she's actually awake" Abigail says.
"Prrrobably" You say. "Just what the hell is she dreaming about?"
"Can't be weirder than your dreams" She says.
"Touché" You say. "and that reminds me. Zee is the one with the missing genitals"
"That's neat, but... how did you find that out?" She asks.
"Tasha mentioned it" You say.

"What did I mention?" Tasha asks, announcing her entrance.

You pause before answering. You should probably make something up that won't lead to an awkward conversation about your dreams...

You are a Construct, an autonomous creature built from steel, and given life by ancient magic and modern ingenuity. Unlike most, you have mistakenly achieved sentience, and have received civil rights. You are also a detective with the city police.

Today, you and your partner Catherine Russo have narrowed down the location of an illegal chop shop to a warehouse near the pier. For the most part, Russo lead the case, but now the two of you may be walking into the jaws of a tiger, and you have both prepared accordingly with surplus ammunition and equipment. Russo leads the way to the front door, confidently striding forward with intent to assert her position for what is likely the first time since you've met her. You yourself are uncertain, but not afraid. At least not for yourself.

Russo reaches the door and takes a deep breath. You, with your shotgun slung over your shoulder, take up position.

It takes the better part of a week for Risel and Raditz to arrive home. Their ship gusting down on the lawn with the usual whoosh of dying engines.

Teito showed up to greet them as well, a significant bump now showing through her shirt, "So, what are the odds Ris is preggers too?" She grins, "Come on, nobody but those two and... well, Nail's not going to be keeping them busy with conversation, now is he?"

"Give it a minute." You shrug, watching as the ramp descends.

Nail descends first, massaging his temples, "Space-Christ, you'll need to hose down the upholstery." He groans, "It's like a a thousand space rabbits were in there."

Gross. "Still, thanks for having our back Nail."

He shrugs, "Eh, no biggie, I miss anything big?"

"Well, there was a genocidal bug thing from the future that wanted to kill all life and was stronger than a Super Saiyan, oh, and Frieza came back as a robot. Kicked both their asses though. Also, the rest of the Namekians moved home to Namek, except Dende."

Nail blinks slowly a few times, "Alright, sure, why not? If you'll excuse me, I'm going to catch some sleep."

He trots off towards the greenhouse, as the two Saiyans descend, Risel waving from Raditz arms, held princess style, and sure enough, she's got a sizeable bump around her midsection.

"Called it." Teito whispers, nudging you with her elbow.

You roll your eyes, "Kabuya, good to see you." Raditz nods, setting his partner down. "You'll be glad to hear that we're off scott-free with the Patrol."

"Sweet." Teito laughs, "Blank slate, now all the planets we blow up can go on a new rapsheet."
