It was possible with Horus, so I dont see why not for the emperor.
And if it were possible, then what would be the outcome in your opinion, /tg/?
Pic not related. Thought it was funny.
We never find out how much like the old Horus was retained in the clone from the talon of Horus.

Psychic potential on this level has almost nothing to do with genetic structure bar the mutations that allow them to withstand their own powers without exploding or some shit, so yes, but he wouldn't be a particularly impressive Psyker.
>>44855873
But isnt psykic capability based on genetics? Dont you have to be born with the genes to even be able to have a connection to the warp?
Would you run/play a game in this setting, /tg/?

My DM was running a 5e game and I showed up with a CE fiend bladelock. My DM was really opposed to the chaotic evil part, but he's my friend and he let me.
I played it just like a sith apprentice who sometimes got a message from his fiendish lord via the medieval equivalent of holograms. I didn't dick over my teammates which was especially easy since they always play nonlawful neutrals, and I played it like an explosively emotional, vindictive, but loyal teammate.
Summoning my bladepact saber and shooting force lighting eldritch blast all the live long day.

Is there a good system to simulate CUHRAYZEE animu mecha fights? I know a few western styled mecha systems.. but you know something for highspeed robot action?
>>44853516
Depends on how much you like crunch and numbers.
Less crunch gets you Battle century G or its free predecessor Giant Guardian Generation.
More Crunch gets you Mekton Zeta or Mketon Zero.
I'm sure someone will say gurps but at that point you might as well just play Mekton.
And ignore the guy trying to sell everyone on D&D 4e.
>>44853516
Battle Century G works well for this. The Tension mechanic makes fights get more dangerous the longer they drag on which definitely helps simulate the feeling of high speed mecha action. It's also a pretty simple system overall, making it actual high speed instead of taking forever to resolve combat.
I sadly don't think you can fully render CUHRAYZEE on P&P games, most of what makes them great to play and watch is the flashy moves and the thrill of player input. One could be arranged with narration, but for the other you'd at least need a solid combat system where a lot of techniques and manouvers are actually viable so you don't end up wasting an action doing something other than full attack.
How would you run an animorphs game? Have you run one before? how did it go?
>>44853258

Start out lighthearted and make things fucking dark by the end. Ramp that shit up. Make them engage in stealth and little kid adventures at first, but before long they're involved in bloody war and cutthroat alien politics with monsters that used to be their families.
The Great War did not end in 1918.
It went on as some predicted at the time, to go on for nearly a hundred years, making it known by many in the aftermath as the second Hundred Years War.
Chemical Warfare went unhindered by the benefit of hindsight. The substances man developed became more efficient and more deadly. Some poisoned the earth itself, leaving the land barren and the soil untillable. Others twisted and mutated the land, and the animals (and humans) inhabiting them into disgusting abominations. It was as if nature itself was corrupted, the old gods crying out in anguish for the damage wrought upon it. There were even gases that lingered beyond the limits of what was theoretically possible. One such gas pocket was recorded as remaining in the same spot for over 30 years.
Europe was decimated. Worse yet, the effects of the poison in the land spread to even places untouched by war.
Through all this, you were killed. Perhaps by gas, a gunshot from the enemy (or a friend), the creatures of corruption, or maybe the famine that has hit the continent.
You awaken underground, as you begin to suffocate, instinct takes hold, and with unnatural strength, you claw your way to the surface. You begin taking in mouthfuls of air reveling in the simple fact that you are alive. You are aware of a red mist surrounding the shell hole that you have found yourself in. As you calm down, you see a man standing not too far from you. Wearing a strange mask and holding a staff, he pulls a book from underneath his cloak. He addresses you:
"State your name and previous occupation."
"What?" you reply.
"Another idiot. Alright, think really hard about your past and tell me these four things."
1. What is your name?
2. What country did you owe allegiance to?
3. What theater of war did you fight in?
4. What was your position or rank?
"Hurry it up, I don't have all day," he says.

He plants his staff in the ground and writes something in his book. Presumably your answers to his questions. Satisfied, he loudly closes the book.
"Well, that wasn't so bad," he says.
He puts the book away and looks up at you. An image flashes through your mind of a time long gone(pic related). He chuckles.
"Wonder how you'll fare without a horse. Hey, maybe you'll get lucky."
He plants his fists into the ground. The earth seems to swirl around his arms. He retrieves a saber, an old mauser 1898 carbine, and an infantry pack. All these items are absolutely caked in mud.
"Not the kind of equipment you're used to I imagine."
He throws them at your feet.
"Watch out for those Serbs, eh? They're not the kind of people to let go of a grudge. Even now..."
He retrieves his staff and climbs out of the hole. The smoke dissipates and he is gone.
What do you do now?

A young teenage male sat up on his bed, and immediately groaned. Today was the day he had feared for so long.
The first day of phase 1 academics.
Sure, he had attended all of the stages of phase 0, but his teachers had all told him that compared to phase 1, phase 0 was a walk in the park. Easier than a walk in the park, they claimed. A nap in the park.
The home that he live in is incredibly cramped, and when he stands up now the roof already touches his head. The floor is a carpet laid atop some dirt, and his bed is made of the various articles of clothing found in the dump, layered together to make a makeshift mattress.
With him lives another person, of roughly the same age and build. They were the closest of friends since time could remember. In their old orphanage, they would always be found together, whether it be studying, sparring, or eating.
They had left the orphanage after one fortunate day, where they found the deed to the small studio they currently lived in. In the city of New Alexis, one couldn't live in a house unless they had a deed. If the inspectors came over and found out on their routine checks, you would be lucky to have your head intact when it was fed to the ravens.

You are Captain Kusajishi Riku, leader of the Ninth Division of the Seireitei Court Guard, and you've had a long couple of days.
Three days ago, you and Yoruichi finally had your long-awaited showdown with Captain Aizen. The battle was intense, and quite honestly you were losing ground to your opponent before being rudely interrupted by an arrancar of massive power and unknown origin. He called himself “Arturo”, and his arrival seemed to provide Aizen with an option for an immediate and clean exit.
He's left the Seireitei in chaos, with the revelation of his treachery and the murder of the Central 46 leaving the no real semblance of a centralized authority beyond the military rule of the remaining Captains over their respective Divisions. For now that seems to be keeping the peace, but whether things can remain this way indefinitely is something you just can't say for sure.
For now you're trying to relax for the first time since that day, having drawn water for a hot bath. But fate it seems has conspired against you. With a loud crash, someone kicks in the door to your bathroom and starts shouting.

“Where the hell is my son!?” Kurosaki Masaki demands, aiming what looks like a one-handed reishi bow at your face. “I know he came here to find that Kuchiki girl!”
You hold your hands up in defense, the steam mostly shrouding your figure. “Easy, Masaki! Ichigo's fine, the whole mess has been settled for three days!”
“Three days?” Masaki asks skeptically, lowering her bow. “I can't have been more than an hour or two behind him.”
“I take it you didn't get caught by the sweeper?” you ask.
Masaki scoffs. “Please, you'd have to be pretty thick to get caught by that... ah.”
The look of dawning comprehension on your sister-in-law's face is priceless.
“He's recovering over in the Fourth Division barracks,” you tell Masaki with a laugh. “If you'd be fine waiting until I'm out of the bath, I may be able to get you past security.”
“Aren't you sure?” she asks, suddenly quite curious about your choice of words.
You shake your head. “A lot has happened in the last few days. Maybe you'd better sit down, Masaki.”

You are Captain Kusajishi Riku, and you're in trouble.
Aizen has made good his escape after a battle that tested the abilities of all involved, and a new threat has emerged in the form of the arrancar Arturo Plateado. He had apparently been bound somewhere within the Seireitei, but was set loose after a massive release of reiatsu during your clash. It was Tōsen who fell first under the newcomer's blade, and the spike in Arturo's reiatsu immediately afterward suggests that some sort of absorption took place which made him more powerful.
Arturo Plateado disappeared as well after making a proclamation that he would kill every shinigami in existence, but that has hardly been the end of your arrancar-related woes. No, Rangiku accidentally saw to that when she called in the arrancar who allied themselves with you a century ago. Now they're here, just after the nick of time, for all the assembled Captains of the Seireitei to see.
“Captain Kusajishi?” Halibel asks calmly at your side. “Did we arrive too late to be of assistance?”
You sigh, rubbing at your temples in frustration. "Well, shit.”
“I take it that is a yes,” Halibel frowns. “My apologies if this has become a difficult situation.”
“No, it's fine,” you insist, still holding your head. “It was a good idea, it's just the fight ended even faster than it began. It wasn't anyone's fault.”

Just played against UB Eldrazi on Xmage, I was playing Junk.
This eldrazi deck is fucking lame, and GBx is all but dead. My main deck will be Twin for the last time tomorrow and then I'll probably sell out of modern. One, because this new meta shift is about to be gay as fuck, and two, because no tier 1 deck I buy will ever be safe.
Suck my dick, Wizards.
Currently playing Living End. Twin wasn't exactly a favorable matchup, but now infect and burn will be on the rise. Plus Tron and B/x Eldrazi run mainboard relics. How fucked am I?

“Gimme a lift back to the jeep?” You ask.
She nods, taking the air, and man her wings have a lot of holes in them. “How are you able to stay airborne like this?” You have to ask.
She shrugs, giving an extra flap. “I’unno. Magic?”
Works for you. She touches down just by the jeep, letting you go, careful not to scrape you with her claws. “Don’t give him a lift, he can walk on his own feet!” Eva reprimands the devil as she digivolves back to her smaller bat form.
“Sorry Eva, just being nice is all.” Demi sighs patiently, eagerly helping herself to some of the food, as you sit down between Elecmon and Hagurumon, helping yourself to some bread. God damn you were hungry after all that.
The sun drops from high noon to dusk in an instant, a warm summer night rolling in, as you glance at the bundle of fire wood.
Eh, why not freak the twins out. You make sure to swallow your meal, before shaking your hand out, a flame bursting out of it as you gently hold it under the kindling, both twins jumping backwards in surprise, as heat blooms out from it.
You let the flame go and it puffs out, “How’d you do that?” Jeff asks astonished.
“I swear, if you wasted our gas on trying to impress us!” Eva starts.
Casey’s got your back, “Guy’s relax, he can just.” She focuses her face for a moment and the rock Casey’s sitting on lifts upwards, the blonde yelping and clinging tighter to it, Gotsumon recoiling a little and looking nervous as Casey drops it.
“Woah…” Jeff breathes.
“Ask Witchmon, if you wanna learn some magic.” You tell them before the question comes. “She’s more than friendly about teaching it.”
“I wonder if it’ll carry over, if we get home.” Jeff mutters, clicking his fingers, “That’d be pretty cool.”
Probably doesn’t, you figure… but it would be cool.
Elecmon yawns, leaning against your thigh, before both the girls stand. “Well, we’re going to ask about a shower.” Eva announces, “DON’T follow us.” You can’t tell which of you that’s directed at more, as they slip away into the dark.
“Like anyone’d want to follow her narrow ass.” Jeff grumbles, staring into the flames. “God damn, it’s been a week.” He sighs, “Have you found any time to…” He makes a pumping motion, “You know, with Casey around?”
