Hear ye, hear ye. I hereby call to order this meeting of the most illustrious Mages Guild! Before we begin, I would like to congratulate whoever fixed that damn leaning that the tower was doing last week, it was giving me a headache that no amount of alcohol could fix.
Now, as anyone who has a multi-millennial calendar would already know there is a resurgence of magical energy coming up, and from the looks of things it's going to be a big one. Last time this happened, we had absolute chaos, everyone tried to claim the source for their own department. I would be fine seeing that again, but the number crunchers tell me that if we try it we'll end up with no survivors. Literally none. And apparently that's a bad thing? Whatever, they won't stop bugging me about it, so figure out who's getting energy for what. Oh, and I call at least half of it. For reasons.Welcome to the Mages' Guild. Pick a name and join in! All souled creatures has SOME power over the warp. But it's like an election, you need millions of the same thing to make a sensible ripple. Eldar needed trillions orgies going on at once to create slaanesh, but they did alter the reality of the warp through emotion, so its possible that trillions of humans with fatih on the emperor would cause some effect in the warp. But eldar are more psychic active than humans so, I figure, is harder for a Slaanesh-Like god emperor to form. Instead, I think, those blessings are captured from the warp by the sisters of battle through her miracles. And those ghost space marine guys.

A - No. We recognize that spreading out our efforts is what originally killed the project. Accordingly, we're focusing on just one thing at a time and finishing them out.

A - It generally comes down to what people like. Propose the idea and see if others want it.
Q - Is there a map/unified setting?
A - Nope. Though proposals have been made, nothing concrete has been created.

While Garuna, that great temple city, is undoubtedly the home of Tenngaru's faithful – in the same way that Tenn, the capital, is the home of the faithless – the Dragon's Head is a place of no lesser importance. Built straddling the Dragon River, the sacred town is a place of great beauty.
A shame, then, that you can only imagine it as a battlefield. The chaos that engulfed the town when you last saw it was burned into your mind's eye. Perhaps this time will be different – a peaceful and productive journey to wipe away the memory of the Seer's assault. You hope so, but you have to wonder – and not for the first time – what value hope holds in these troubled times.
The road stretches out for a few hours ahead of you, but already the first buildings grow visible. Koa, equally grim and sombre, rides at your side, while Howa leans into your back, her arms a comforting presence around your waist. At the first sight of rippling prayer flags, she offers a soft gasp of appreciation.

He'd be angry, nursing a grudge with nowhere else to go. He'd turn against us in a heartbeat. I'm not gonna say that I like having him around, but the alternative isn't much better.”
What about Jain himself, you ask, has he caused any other trouble?
“No, he's kept to himself mostly,” Koa shakes his head, “I mean, most of his friends – former friends – are keeping their distance. I think he regrets what happened, I really do, but it'll take a long time before everyone forgets what happened – if they ever do. I have to ask, though...”
Go ahead, you press, ask away.
“Did I do the right thing?” Koa asks, a trace of uncertainty lingering in his voice, “I mean, what would you have done?”

I'm pretty sure PP will be breaking the law if they demand people charge a set amount for their product. That is price collusion and illegal in most places.
If someone can make a profit off of selling at 20% discount then they should be fine with selling at 20% discount. If you can't compete with that then you need to find an alternative way to run your business or accept someone else will replace you.
Price fixing is not going to solve the problem, if anything it is going to create more problems when PP price themselves out of the hobby. The giant model thing is already showing PP are getting desperate for a gimmick to stay relevant. It's what GW did because "No one wants to pay $60 for some toy soldiers when they could pay $60 for a new video games instead".
What all miniature companies and stores need to accept is that traditional gaming is being replaced by video games. The internet has completely changed the social landscape and going to your friends house is not replaced with using facebook, Skype or Steam. They need to find alternative ways to get people into the hobby and price fixing just isn't going to cut it. Even in the traditional gaming area wargaming is being replaced by board games. Armies are just too damn expensive outside of stuff like Malifaux, which is 8 models a side.

I have a gun. It shoots bullets.
What can the bullets do to have an increased effect on a regular human sized target that may or may not be armored, considering that "make them very very fast and very very armor piercing" is most likely not enough of an effect?

Netepic Armageddon is a 6mm (1:285 scale) wargame set in the Warhammer 40 000 universe.
In 2003 GW published the fourth edition of Epic, Epic Armageddon.The game relied on community feedback during development and the living rulebook was made available via GW's Fanatic website. The rules are still available for free, but not supported by GW any more. Until the promised return of the specialist games by GW, the game is developed by the fans in the form of Net Epic Armageddon.

There is a lot of old epic stuff on Ebay and some manufacturers produce good proxies, like http://vanguardminiatures.co.uk/. Tacticalwargames.net, and other forums or facebook groups also do lots of trading in second hand epic minis.

Players alternate using parts of their armies called formations rather than moving and fighting with their entire force. Morale and fatigue is represented by giving “Blast Markers” to a formation when something bad happens to it, which gradually makes it less effective and stops more and more units in the formation from acting until they rally. The scale makes units with longer range weapons or high movement speed stand out more, makes manoeuvring more important and allows for the use of many units that are superheavy or above in Warhammer 40 000, such as Baneblades, fliers, knights or titans without warping the game too much.
In this anon's opinion, this is a great gamers game as well as a great hobby game. Not as clumsy or random as 40k. An elegant game... for a more civilized age.

While I'm not gonna deny the Blood Ravens are a badass chapter, they got some issues. Like half the chapter falling to chaos and the other half not knowing about it; rampant kleptomania, being space gypsies, hoarding secrets and information from the Imperium at large and even from members of the chapter itself (kinda explains how they didn't even know they had traitors in the chapter). Still, I'd take them over other chapters for still remembering that they're here to defend humanity at the end of the day.

This seems like a fairly underused, and underrated card. Any sac deck that splashes green should have this as an auto-include.
Combine with Angry Ommnath and the Amulet of Vigor and you have a nice G/R wincon there.
