Lawful Evil is my favourite. I most often play Chaotic Good though as it's the least affected by bullshit alignment arguments.

But when I have to, I never honestly played an lawful character and I don't think there are many options that could convince me to do so.

A sorcerer that wants to keep a secret that could destroy his family.

He's a fighter that got dragged into a bigger job than he was ready for. He wants to be done with this job that's over his head, and furthermore, not worth it after all. He misses his girlfriend and he detests the people he travels with. Still, he's fared far better than he realizes. I hope he doesn't die next session. He's a moron, but I like him.

I played a level seven undying warlock that had vampire blood powering his magic in a dungeon crawl last night and holy shit was it awesome. When the party needed a scout I had my imp familiar, when everyone else was making athletics checks to climb a rope I turned into mist and floated to the top, when everyone needed to by a horse to travel to the dungeon I turned into a dire wolf and ran with them, and when it came to combat I was doing the high and most constant damage with my eldritch blast even without using hex. Warlocks are my new favorite class I think. The only thing I'm worried about is that I may have out shined the other players.

My necron knowledge is a little lacking. Why are they seen as such a threat compared to Chaos, Tyranids or the Orks?

Well Anon, That's because the Necrons are the Galactic equivalent of the crazy old man who sits on his porch all day, with a drink in one hand and a shotgun in the other, who spends his time reminiscing about the good old days, complaining about how the world's gone to shit and how nobody respects their elders anymore, and scaring the shit out of\horribly maiming any kids that dare venture near his property. The Necrons would rather spend their time being grumpy and disgruntled, and only move when the grox droppings have hit the ventilator and they need to clean up the mess.

And if Old Man Necron really were interested in legitimate galactic domination, then that require him to get out of his rocking chair and get used to actually moving again. Then he would have to, go inside his house, find all the really big guns he's hasn't used in a long time, get back in touch with all his other old Necron pals to see if their up for a campaign, find his robot arthritis medication, pack some spare mechanical dentures, and get his old, but damned good truck ready to roll.

By this point, a combination of electronic Alzheimer's and selective memory out of laziness would have made Old man Necron forget why got up in the first place, and sit back down to fall asleep instead.

Try Worm. It's about a world where people get Parahuman abilities when they hit a "trigger event" which only happens in like one out of every 70,000 people and results in a mostly random but often violent superpower.

I'm giving UW spirits a go. Seems like the Faeries deck I always wanted to be good but never was. Also bought a playset of Allosaurus Rider and Eldritch Evolution. I might just try building that.

Go for chaotic neutral with evil tendencies, and be more of the guy who's willing to do what's necessary, rather than the guy who always does the very last thing anyone is supposed to do.

Be an asset to your party, not a detriment.

Have well defined motives that are interpretable as evil but otherwise be a rational and believable human being with the necessary elements of both compassion and empathy thrown in.

Try to create a believable person rather than a character which follows an unrealistic paradigm such as "chaotic evil".

I'm interested, but I'll wait to hear how it plays. I do like the look of those four armed golems though.

Not even 15 years ago. I mean I like the style, but the sculpts are mantic tier with no option to customize the models. Also this shitty looking 2 pose cavalry unit in a mass skirmish. Ugh.

There are tons of fantasy rulesets that are 'better' than whfb and not a single one managed to undo whfb. Also the x-wing rules are to simple for anything other than dogfights. See TANKS. ALSO people are already getting tired of that card release policy. Aside from the issue that you have to buy models you don't want to get cards for other models, it lead to one of the most bloated listbuilding process I have ever seen in tabletop. Only the recent 40k edition is probably worse.
FFG should have used one of their franchises (GoT, SW or even Cthulhu, the Wicher or buy some other obscure shit) and make a proper skirmish instead of that half assed try on mass skirmish. Or better yet, try to go the way of legions of arcana and use a better (smaller) scale for mass battles, which is also more forgiving on subpar sculpts.

Water and fire are almost perfect, except for one bit. Fire is almost always tied with strength (though not always literal strength) or power in the shows, so I think that should definitely be moved to fire from water. With that said, either Aglility or Intelligence would work fine with water as a switch, but I'm leaning towards Intelligence.

I wouldn't move any of them. The waterbenders in the show push and pull opponents around with huge torrents of water when not doing mystic stuff and the firebenders have a more agile, acrobatic style than they do.

Rings are not representative of personality traits, they represent aptitudes.
