Can you blame Loyalists? If I lived in such a grimdark setting I would be a stalwart bastion of order too this is the choice between either living a piece of shit heretical life or honour and righteous purging. But I think the horrid nature of Warhammer 40k just makes fighting for goodness that much more rewarding.

A Meta WILL be established, but it's a meta that is without Battleships or Corvettes. A meta that will have limited Battlecruisers and due to ship number limitations generally will be top heavy in an attempt to maximise points per ships.
Skirmish level will be common.
People who ordered double starter sets will have more freedom in list building and battle level, but even then, there will be limits.

That's a good point. With people gushing about how much stuff they've got coming it was easy to forget all those models will often be spread across a few fleets. And, like you say, that plenty of people are only getting a starter fleet or so per faction.

An extra card every turn is good.
But for a control deck being left with a maximum hand size of 0 is terrible because you can't hold onto any answers. And for an aggro deck it seems way too slow.

It's definitely a lot worse than Phyrexian Arena for anything outside of Standard. But this is the Standard thread and I don't really know what the current Standard is like. So is it really broken in Standard?

What about a super-vain elf, who just happens to be dead? He spends a lot trying to sew the pieces that fall off back on, and keeps trying ridiculous new concoctions of makeup.

A dwarf who thinks that being dead just means he doesn't have to worry about hang-overs because he doesn't need to sleep, any more.

An emaciated human who makes up exotic races to pretend to be, to explain his pale skin and emaciated figure. Mostly he tries to pass himself off as half snow-elf.

Not sure if it really helps but i was working on a sort of self Frankensteining doctor. He would sew shit to himself and others to heal people and shit like that. Now outside of an undead campaign that's mostly a down side, people start complaining about the idiot who keeps sewing girls to dogs and shit like that.

I was also creating a dwarven setra.Basically the greyest of beards and wants everything to be bigger and more challenging so the dwarves of the day will not be so weedy.

Right now i am playing an undead who pretends to be a leper to blend into human society (as well as a rotting corpse/leper can). He's driven to kill as many unthinking undead (he's far more lenient on undead that WANT to live). All of his shit kind stems from the fact he was a worshipper of the raven queen and just 't wants to keep on living.

Introducing the MGCYOA Supplementary Combat System!

The SCS was made as an add-on to the CYOA to cover the combat side of roleplaying. It allows players to easily take characters made in the CYOA v1.5 and use them in Quests and long-running campaigns alike.

This PDF covers the basics of magical girls and sets the groundwork for future updates (which will include Patrons, DMGs, and Monster Girls).

One of my players is a big fan of JoJo, and given that we're playing Mutants and Masterminds he wanted to build his character a stand.

I helped him stat out the stand and the power to own it, since I love JoJo too.

So quick question, I am in a gestalt campaign and making an Ivory Templar, that means Cleric prestiging to Sentinel and getting all the fun bonuses of worshipping Baphomet as time goes on.

My GM hates things that are 3pp and the hybrid classes. What would be a good class to compliment a bit of unrequested glaive love to the enemy's face? I'm stuck between fighter or Barbo.

I love the warlocks that are off-putting and feel alienated from everyone else. Mechanically that really makes me like the GOOlocks. One that doesn't flaunt their power, but simply hints that he's more than he seems.

I want to make a Dirge Singer school for Bards. A sort of necromancer-bard that can overwhelm people with feelings of mourning and loss. What can I do for its bardic inspiration? My first thought would be to let them cast Animate Dead, but getting a 3rd-level spell at level 3 like that would be too powerful.

Just refluff college of satire or lore and take animate dead as your free spell from another class. You don't need to make a whole new school.

Chaos Orks are extremely rare, and are usually shunned out of Ork society. If an Ork DOES become corrupted it's usually by accident.

Eldar die instantly when Chaos touches their soul. The closest you'll get to "Chaos Eldar" in terms of behavior are Dark Eldar, but they hate Chaos. On the Eldar Crone World (ancient Eldar worlds captured in the Eye of Terror) you'll find damned Eldar who are more just grimdark scenery than an actual faction.

Tau have very, very tiny souls, and so don't develop psykers and are very resistant to Chaos. Even if they were exposed to Chaos, their faith in the Greater Good would probably shield them even more.

She created a Sorcerer under the dragon blood build. She had a hermit-like backstory, so the campaign involved her going to a temple that her father used to visit (her father was part of the dragon cult, but she never knew this) and it's now being desecrated by goblins. She had only just got to the entrance of the temple, with a few scraps with some goblins on the way.

Have you tried getting her to talk to interesting NPCs and end up in interesting situations instead? I know that killing goblins is what DnD is about, but I've always liked those slice of life episodes and town sequences much more. I'm sure half the /tg/ is the same way.
