Do you park your car outside? What do you do to protect it against the elements?

what I do
>wash once a week
>hand clean/polish wheels to remove brake dust weekly
>wax every 6 months
>avoid parking under trees because fuck bird shit

I just got a HF dual action polisher. What pads and compound should I get?
I plan to clean up headlights, swirl marks on paint, and buff wax with it. Mostly on a Toyota.

I know about the back plate being retarded. I plan on buying a 5" back plate or cut off the outer edge of the excess hook and loop backing.

I like the Chemical Guys system, but they're pricey. Nice video guides though.

so I (still) have this good 'ol e30 stashed away in a countryside garage for the last... 7 years.
the engine had it rough, the automatic gearbox is rip, rear differential has been acting up aswell.
basicly, as I see it, all I have in working condition here is the chassis itself.

I would actually like to refit it with another, new engine, manual gearbox and keep the awd.
what would you guys suggest; what could I fit into it?
any LS'es for suggestion and gearboxes?

I've been driving the standard auto trans my entire life. Recently, just got a 2103 G37 IPL as a hamidown, and a buddy tried to give me an introduction on how to operate the seven speed auto.

Turns out I'm shit at it. Are there any decent resources online that will help me get into the practicing phase? I'm decent at upshifting, but downshifting and rev matches are my pitfall

Sooo..... I need to buy some new wheels for my Chevrolet Cruze LT and I want to buy some wheels that look like this one over here in the picture.

I only found out some EKM3 wheels that don't fit my car.. (5x105 mine) and at the moment I can only find these ones

but i heard they cost about 225$ each.. and that's to expensive for me.. I only want to spend about 170$ max.

So yea, please give me some tips on what "cheap" original wheels I should buy please, that fit 5x105.

I've been looking for a pre-1994 Saab 900 in my area. I found this and want to know what you guys think. Car is 3-owner and current owner has had for 6 years with maintenance records in his possession going back about 9. Apparently his mechanic suggested he sell it for 3000. Wondering if it's so lowly priced because of some critical flaw or if this tends to be the going price these days. It seems average compares to similar ones on CL, and am contemplating pulling the trigger on this but want to know if you guys think it's worth pursuing.
