Hey, I have a 2003 Dodge ram 1500 4x4 with a 4.7L Magnum v8, my dad bought the truck off the showroom floor and drove it home $50,000. Great truck to drive gets decent milage has 2 Flowmaster super 10s sounds great. But that's not the point, the point is I want to make this truck look brand new from the inside. What I want to know is how to clean the crud on my 4x4 shifter and how do I remove the flu that sticks to my seats, and how to restore headlights on the cheap (no sandpaper, just home remedies)
>50K
Make sure to call your dad a cuck at least once a day from now on.

If you can't afford sandpaper then you probably shouldn't even start detailing - especially not a 4x4 truck. Just pressure wash the whole thing inside and out then let it dry in the sun all day with the doors open. That's what I do.
Looking at a '79 Diesel Hipster Memecedes on CL right now
Anyone familiar with working with these? The interior is suspiciously pristine and it's going for $2500 with >200k miles.
I'm constantly hearing "it'll eat your wallet" and "it'll run forever", so which is more true?
>>14730081
5th Gear put explosives in the engine bay of a diesel mercedes and it still started up.
Africa loves Mercedes
It will run forever.
Link to CL?
Unless you're poor as fuck it won't eat your wallet, parts are easy to find and cheap. Not to mention the w123 community is huge so if anything goes wrong you'll be able to find a guide that walks you through the repair.
>>14730081
It will eat your wallet if you don't service and repair it yourself. It's 37years old, so of course some things will need fixing. The thing about those cars is that the drivetrain can run pretty much forever if you keep up with maintenance and fix the small shit that happens (leaky seal, bad hoses, radiator etc.)
At that age, rust is definately something you need to look at, and anything made out of rubber that has not yet been replaced will need to be rather soon, most likely. Don't expect it to be a perfectly pristine vehicle with absolutely nothing ever breaking. Small things will go wrong, it's a classic car after all. These cars just aren't prone to catastrophic failures, and are still somewhat economical to run by american standards.
Thoughts on Mazda MX3?
Looks lame, but is small and quite cheap, especially comparing with Miata.
Should be fun driving, they're quite powerful for their weight.
Best first drift missile imo
Quite hard to control the winter, but hell, it's the fate of every rwd
>>14730049
The MX-3 is FWD.
Howcome Ford Europe is better than Ford America?
Employs Europeans, not morons and apes.
>>14729954
was* now closed.
Different market, different cars. never caught on in the american market. (Mk1 capri, escorts)
Also purchasing cosworth was one of their best decisions.
>>14729954
It's all part of Global Ford now which is pretty cool, they've done a nice job transitioning into a truly global manufacturer.
Recommend a poorfag his first car.

- 145$ - 200$
- 17"
- 5x105

Help a bro out, these wheels will be for my Cruze LT.
At the moment I with the measurements that I need I only found the Expensive TSW Wheels, the EKM3 (Enkei) that are a bit different and the 426 Cross Wheels that look really small on the sides.

Are you in the US? Tirerack is your best bet honestly

Miatas pretending to drift.
Are E30s expensive to maintain?
I know BMWs in general are money pits.
They are for the unemployed.
You're posting one with a Poland plate. If you live in Poland, it'll be pretty cheap, especially if you know how to work on a car.
Idk what's this fuss about BMWs being expensive to maintain. Every fucking bydlo has a BMW, including me.
Sometimes
You bus riding neets will never be as down as me and my bro.

Hey /o/ have you ever regretted selling your first car? I know I have.
>Be me in high school 3 yrs ago
>gf at the time was being really naggy about visiting her
>I drove pic related so it wasn't the best on mileage
>me being the horny teenager I was thought more about pussy than the car I enjoyed
>ended up selling it for $1100
>haven't owned a decent car since
Also general first car thread
I still own it.

First care was an 82 monte carlo.
Piece of shit it was. Left me stranded more than once. 0-60 was about 13 seconds. I left it to rot on my grandparents land in the middle of nowhere.
Regret it now. Realize I didn't take care of it like I should. Would like to find a similar one to do as a project car at some point.
>picture not of actual car
>rusted through frame rail and wheel well
>220k+ miles
>ricer taillights
>flipups were winkups
>hooned it for half a year straight
>sent to graveyard after
>hood popped open on highway and smashed glass roof
Convince me not too
Because you're poor.
