Pic related.(prob not the first to think of this) I was just thinking... A good exhaust system helps the engine "breathe" better, thus, "better performance". However, do you think that a good exhaust system could be pointless for any performance gain unless you upgrade your air intake as well? Lemme explain: better exhaust obviously means that the exhaust stroke pushes out all the smoke and fumes and fuel easier and faster. Stock air intake will obviously still be able to mix in a little more air than normal, but, I feel like maybe upgrading your intake too is the best way to go. Possibly the only way to get any worth-while performance gain.? Thoughts.? Agree, disagree?

Completely depends on the car. 95% of the time exhaust upgrade systems are for sound.
If not a turbo, I would expect any cat back system to have near zero performance benefits assuming the car is not the cheapest of ecoboboxes.

I was involved in a hit and run incident today. A limp dick chode in a giant tricked out GMC/Tundra (wasn't able to confirm) rear ended me then took off. I was getting out of my car with my phone in my hand to take a picture of his license plate when he gunned it and took of. I was 3 seconds too slow.
So now I am in the market for a dash cam since this is the third time I have been hit in the last 6 months. Any recommendations or experiences with cheap/expensive dashcams?

Coilovers are useless unless you go to a track every weekend.
Stay away from them if your on bumpy backroads which it looks like you are on your pic

The 2000 need the PCV update kit, no matter how well the engine has been oil changed over the years.
A simple Stage 1 on the Aero puts it up from 230HP to 260+HP with 324lb-ft.

Just got one myself a 03. the heater knob gets stuck on a lot of them but it is a simple fix. Don't do any work on anything without unhooking the battery.other then that i know of nothing else That is common gremlins

Slowbalt needs paint and minor repair, new battery soon, speakers.
Fairmont still needs a motor but got washed
(Because I dont like people knowing it doesnt work, also live where people report stupid shit like cars sitting too long with cobwebs)
El camino needs fuel lines after I replace the gas tank ignition to be re-wired since I have to basically hot wire it to start it.
SN95 Needs trans work, needs a throw out bearing but waiting to get a clutch kit as well.
F250 needs new stereo.
F350 needs brake job and new batteries.
Jeep needs tires, probably a brake job and to stop getting drenched everytime it rains.
Future projects include
>Ford Falcon cruiser or something else I want to make into a fun easy driver.
>Craving a VW Rabbit or bug.
Keep playing with the idea of picking up a free 460 from a family friend. Have to sawzall the truck frame and take the motor home but then I'd have a new toy and something to learn on.

Listing it up for $5000, but if someone gives me anything over $4200 I'll take that and run, already taking a bath on it. Has a QSD H2B Kit/H23A/GSR trans, Hondata S300, Konis/GCs, ASR Rear Subframe and 23mm Swaybar, new bushings all underneath (HardRace Rubber or Poly), ITR Seats, and a bunch of other crap in a '95 RS shell (230k miles, but its a hardtop + 1995 so it doesn't need emissions inspection)
Only flaws are: No IACV, Exhaust Leak, and bumpers are a different color, paint isn't in the best shape.
I need money ASAP after I picked up a 97 M3 and now I'm going to dump money into doing the whole suspension/cooling system/mounts on the car. I wish I bought one earlier. Its ridiculously fun to drive. I get the hype behind these cars now. But I'm looking at $500 on the cooling system, $300 in mounts/flex disc, $1000-2000 for the suspension (with shocks or coils), etc.
