so I (still) have this good 'ol e30 stashed away in a countryside garage for the last... 7 years.
the engine had it rough, the automatic gearbox is rip, rear differential has been acting up aswell.
basicly, as I see it, all I have in working condition here is the chassis itself.

I would actually like to refit it with another, new engine, manual gearbox and keep the awd.
what would you guys suggest; what could I fit into it?
any LS'es for suggestion and gearboxes?

2JZ engines are kinda putting me off because of the price and cost of parts... but then as well I might fit a turbo or charger easier than into LS2

Swap in a 12A carb'd rotary OP. If you bridgeport it you can get 10 mpg maybe, while making probably 150 hp, brap brap nigga slow as fuck but BRAP BRAP

If I had an E30 I personally would do an m60b40 swap best swap on a budget imo. Also the aluminium V8 doesn't even weigh that much more then all the iron block I6's people swap in.

You can buy the mounts pre made and anything else you would need here, go to a junk yard for the engine / transmission
