I want to get one, I just can't think of anything younger than I am that fits the very sharp, linear style.
My grandfather had a 1970 Chevrolet pickup with a dump bed before he passed, but I don't know what happened to it.
>>14722032
I think I pushed too hard when I farted earlier
>>14722032
Not if the big three can help it.
Google "chicken tax".
>the very sharp, linear style
literally all there is now is the wrangler
and it's terrible
This guy was saleing the same parts of my misses car then when i asked he deleted his post.
>>14721947

>>14721954
I have they are useless
So /o tell me about how much would I be looking at for monthly insurance on a $3500 250cc motorcycle. I'm 18 and have had an accident within the last 12 months (my fault since fell asleep)
https://www.progressive.com/motorcycle/
Put in your info, it'll give you a few different quotes. For a 250 you're probably not going to pay much, even if you're a reckless teen faggot desu senpai.
>>14721338
A lot.
>>14721338
A fuckton because you're a teenager.
Post your worst experience with cops that's related to driving. Mine:
>Driving a 2004 Mazda 3
>Going 120 kms on the highway
>Pass a cop, Doesn't bat an eye
>3 weeks later, driving my 2012 yellow scion
>Pass the same cop on the highway going 120 kms
>Pulls me over and gives me a ticket
>I protest that he never gave me a ticket for going 120 in my Mazda
>"Sucks having a nice car doesn't it?"
>*Internal rage builds inside me*
>>14721209
I've found the inverse
cops target any car that is slightly old or not the luxury trim
>>14721221
Same here
>Driving shitbox expedition
>Cop pulls me over for driving without my lights on
> 100$ Ticket
3 weeks later
>Driving my 92 s10 pickup that is in immaculate condition
> Cop pulls me over for driving without my lights on
>Only gives me a warning
Fucking piggies man
>>14721209
>120km
>pulled over
You're full of shit. OPP won't even touch you unless you're going 140.
I currently work in management at a fairly small body shop, to scope size we deliver around 6 or so vehicles a week to off the street customers mainly insurance jobs and around the same number to dealers. Dealer jobs we have idk 2 shitty buy here pay here lots that use my shop for shitheaps they buy at sales and a Toyota dealer I get some jobs from but they are split to another branch of the company I work for. We have two bodymen that are certified for most shit, a damn good painter, and a tech who can hang bumpers and the like and good with electrical issues and he is sometimes in the wash bay and a retard who picks up the shop and works in the wash bay. We also do the occasional dealship work for a Dodge place and a Chevy place etc it's not all nigger trash vehicles but they are a steady flow
Anyway I'm tired of aftermarket hood fitment issues and mad customers and nitpicks who want their truck with 300k miles to look new and bodymen wife complaining I didn't supplement his labor hours correctly when I pay him more an hour than anyone
Anyone worked a similar job then went to work for an insurance company ? Curious but it seems better
>>14721095
dude, nitpickers and insurance fruaders are a dime a dozen. ask a tire tech.
just make sure you got your I's crossed and T's dotted and they wont have a leg to stand on
>>14721095
Insurance adjuster here, you're gonna deal with the same shit in our field too. In your profession you can atleast tell the customer to fuck off.
>>14721095
Why would you want to work for an insurance company? Insurance offices always give off an MLM vibe to me, seems like if you don't make sales you're fucked. I'd stick with the job you have now and start saving for your own shop, if you're good you can probably eventually get in to the restoration business rather than this shitTier fender bender stuff

I understand there's a rotary and a "should I get an rx-8" thread already, but this is different enough that I don't want to deviate too much from what the OP's said.
How much would it cost to swap the rotary out of the rx8 for something like an LS?
>inb4 $500 and an afternoon
I've never even looked very closely at the wankel engine, but is most of the rest of the car specifically made for wankels? I realize this may seem like a stupid question, but does stuff like the transmission need to be changed too? How much of it other than the engine itself needs to come out?
I love the RX-8, always have, but just can't live with the rotary maintenance. Not just the cost, but the inconvenience. Please don't try to convince me to live with it, I respect doritos, but I don't want one.
>>14720987
LS7 is an expensive motor
>>14720987
It's been done before so I'm sure with some googling you could find what others have done to fit the engine and trans into one. There are likely kits available as well.
>>14720987
How about you get a C5 corvette and shut the fuck up
Don't let the door hit you on the way out pistoncuck
Used yellow film to tint the lower set. Gives cool look and are very bright. Any advice for future mods?
>>14720981
Yeah. Mod your skull with a bullet in it; yellow lights are for indicators and not the front.
Make sure to put zeon or hids in them then never turn them off.

Fast.

Successful.
You know, the opposite of a drifter.

Without the mentioning of emissions, the fact that Honda and Toyota were already on their way to rekt the American car industry as a whole, or mentioning IMSA (which the USA was also routinely rekt in).
>>14720684
If USA had the same emissions regulations and tax upon CO2 and engine size USA wouldn't have any domestic cars left.
>>14720684
>>305CID engine in the mulletmobile making 130 HP
Meanwhile, in 2016, this shitbox only makes 18 more horsepower.

yea no shit
what's /o/s opinion on engine braking? Daily /routine driving specifically
I have brake pedal for a reason. My car is not my dirt bike.
Bump.
>>14720660
I have a Mitsubishi with the sportronic auto transmission and it's great, I can redline and downshift whenever I want the ecu doesn't care.
So I use engine braking a lot with it, or if I'm going down an icy hill I can drop it to first and let the engine rev out and crawl down the hill safe.
Oh another thing I'll do is if the roads are really snowy I'll drop to 2nd or 1st and keep the rpms in the 4-5000 range for max torque depending on how fast I want to go.
So I plan on embarking on a long journey and I need suggestions on vans that could keep me warm/cozy for under $5000.
What are some vans I should keep my eye out for? Doesn't have to be aesthetically pleasing or fast, just capable of going for and keeping me warm.
Was thinking of something like pic related, but I don't know much about vehicles, help me out.
>>14720473
rent an rv or spend the night in hotels and drive a fun car.
you can pick up an early 2000s conversion van for under 5k and they are pretty much designed for long journeys and alot more cozy than an express van
>>14720510
this guy's got it.
>need to honk horn but don't want to sound rude and impatient

I installed a compressor powered air-horn in my car.
Just bought a 2015 Charger. SE. What should I start with performance wise? Aesthetics?
No pics because I've had it for two days and it's rainy as shit. Navy blue
