Prove me wrong /o/

>>14732288
>beautiful
>NSX
Either you are just here from /r/cars or you are baiting with fire.
Are we judging off the looks of the designer or the car itself?
Less then 20 years ago. A sedan weighed just over 2000lbs
And yet their fuel milage was worse.
>>14731936
crash it, and find out why.
>>14731936
Less than 2 years ago. Your mom weight just over 2000lbs.
so /o/, in your opinion, what is your favorite american muscle car? Ive always been a fan of the '71 hemi cuda, shelby cobra is also a beauty
>looks like muscle
>drives like a Corvette
How is the AMX not the objectively correct answer?
'71 and '72 Mustang. Preferably Boss 351 or Mach 1. Underappreciated. '73 model year a shit but I'd settle with it at this rate.
>Tfw ever since I got a job, the prices for them suddenly spiked up thousands of dollars
I bet the Jews did this!
Alternatively '71 Javelin.
>Curvy yet bold, and all dat ass
>Supposedly it can handle well for a landyacht
wew lad
Mustang anyday
What is /o/'s opinion on Lamborghini?
Their fans are 13 years old and the only people that buy them do so to impress their other rich "friends" by saying
>I own a Lamborghini
>>14726558
I like them but wish their cars were more affordable.
>>14726584
I think it is a sad thing that this is the image Lamborghini has received. I love the cars for performance and looks. I want one so I can stare at it and drive it like a rocket ship, not for other people to look at and take pictures.
Hood less thread?
>>14725388
So they don't have vehicle inspections or safety codes in massacuksetts huh?
>car accidentally pulls too far into spot and bumps "bumper
>stupid fuck in eclipse takes off with oil spewing from shitty $30 autozone oil cooler stupidly mounted to bumper
>makes it onto highway going 75 before oil light flickers briefly before engine locks up
>semi plows into back of stopped eclipse on highway killing driver instantly
>less stupidity on /o/
>>14725388
I can't believe how much you've fuck up that poor eclipse.
ITT we post furry cars!
>Learning how to drive after 20
>Taking lessons on a manual car
>Mostly enjoying myself
>At a traffic light
>It turns green
>That pressure when I have to start the car quickly, yet smoothly
>Occasionally get honked at
>Mfw
Why do auto plebs do this? Do they think manual cars have only 2 pedals? Seriously, so rude.
>>14722344
Pay them no mind and next time pull off even slower lel
cant drive manual properly yet and already calling auto drivers plebs
>honking
>ever
Rude desu. People don't honk here at all.
would you buy an automatic convertible version of a daily driver if you could save thousands and spend it on new parts and tools?
keep in mind this is just a grocery wagon, you still have your track spec weekend car for sicc skids
>>14734480
Jokes on you, my DD is already a roadster. I'll enjoy my skids with the top down as god intended.
Enjoy your cuckomatic faggot.
Clever way to justify owning a Solara in your own mind OP. Nobody actually owns a track car (that's actually used on a track) and a shitbox commuter, because people who actually manage to finish a build and do track days/racing haven't given up on life. There's a lot of people with a sad FWD econobox DD and a "future track slut build in progress" though.
>>14734497
>fwd
>implying type r wouldn't fuck your shit up six ways from Sunday
I'm thinking of buying a Scion xB because I want a cheap, reliable shitbox that's practical and will last forever.
Is there any better choice based on those criteria?
Seat pattern is sort of autistic but they're comfy
>>14734285
toyota matrix. then you dont look like a fag
>>14734285
Volvo 850 wagon
Is it jewish to only replace one windshield wiper if you have two? I feel like I dont need to replace the passenger side one, and it still works ok, but my area is a little streaky during rain
>>14733886
Just replace both. If one is bad, chances are the other has some minor cracks or is torn a little on the ends.
>>14733886
You seriously need to ask this?
>tire gets damaged in pot hole...buy 4 new ones...
>ashtray full...buy new car...
>outa gas...buy new car...
There ya go OP...now you know how to do it...
>>14733886
Just clean the blades next time you nigger
Hey /o i was recently given a 2005 dodge durango and its in pretty good shape but the only problem i have is finding a replacement for the 2nd row dome light. Ive scoured the internet and i cannot for the life of me find a replacement. Am i going to have to go to a chrysler dealership and get fucked in the ass to find one? Or am i just not looking hard enough?
>>14733412
But those sticks consume like 12v's each? I mean they turn into mini furnaces
>>14733444
Huh? I wouldnt know.
>>14733412
You're a dumbass.
>Google dodge oem parts
>click second result
>plug in vehicle
>drill down to interior trim
See pic related.
Plastidip ate through my interior paint, I'm guessing all those people who said plastidip will eat through clearcoat are probably right
Depends on the clear coat.
>>14733263
doubtful, since interior paint isn't required to stand up to the amount of abuse that automotive clear coat is
I dunno but that's fucked, never plastidipping again
So, /o/. Are they doing it right? They hired the head designers of Audi for this line.
Will you ever love Genesis? She's trying really hard.
I like it. They are getting more restrained.
Colour choice was a bit unfortunate
Hyundai and sister company Kia have been home to one of the auto industry’s finest designers, Peter Schreyer, for many years and recently picked up Luc Donckerwolke from Bentley to succeed Schreyer as head of design for the corporation. And at Hyundai Design North America, Chris Chapman is Hyundai’s chief designer, the man chiefly responsible for pushing the concept and eventual production BMW X3, X5 and Z4 models while a key player at BMW Group’s DesignworksUSA in California before heading up new vehicle and concept design at Hyundai N.A. in 2012.
I asked Chapman about the New York’s guiding principle.
"What you see must feel natural, pure and at ease in it’s own skin," Chapman says. "Everything must instinctually be in the right place, and that begins with proportions. Highly complex or intellectual design doesn’t normally work to most eyes. If it looks and feels natural, you know the design team has taken the time to cook it properly."

>Genesis Coupe
>$26,950
You could get a Subaru BRZ for $25,395 or a V6 Mustang for $24,145.
>Genesis Sedan
>$38,750
You could get a Maxima for $32,510, or an Avalon for $32,650.
I don't care who they hired to design the exterior, that's not going to change the fact that they're selling cars with Chinese build quality and reliability. Trying to charge more money for an inferior product is nonsense.
What is this /o/?
I've narrowed it down in my mind between a Tundra or an F150.
On a side note, I'm so depressed. I've been a car enthusiast since I was a kid, and I used to pride myself on my ability to tell car models apart. It's been gradually getting worse and now I can't tell fuckin pickup trucks apart anymore?
>>14732062
It's a Tundra. And somehow the owner has made it look like a faggy bro truck and an old mans truck at the same time........wow
>>14732137
Thats what I was thinking, but the ebay tail lights threw me off. That shape looks like F150 tails...
I hate those fucking fender flares with the fake bolts
anything other than stock flares is gay as fuck
When did it become okay to advocate all season tires like some fag. I go to car meets and people actually get angry at me that I laugh when they bring shitty all seasons to a track day. "bro my all seasons are more expensive than your tires". What does that matter when when they turn into oil slicks a lap and a half in.
I feel the car crowd has some of the most ignorant enthusiasts
My two cents;
Tire threads usually go like this;
>person who has always had all seasons and lives somewhere where they only get the most miniscule of snowfalls has no experience with actual winter and says that nobody needs anything else
>person who lives somewhere with tough winters and have always had two dedicated sets of tires (one for summer and one for winter) tells everyone that if you as much as look at snow without snowflake-branded premium tires you'll skid and die
>>14731731
I'd say on an autism scale of 1 to 10 you're at a 7.
>>14731771
> found the fag with all seasons
>tires don't matter bro
