So my car blew a rod today. A 06 MX-5. 3rd generation limited edition 0140/3000. I'll see what I can do at a later date but for now it's going to sit and rot. I don't have enough time or money to fix it. Feelsbadman.

The hub on the rear doesn't line up with the spoke pattern, this upsets me greatly.
Virginia driver tried to fucking get killed by me today. Long story short dude pulled out from a stop sign to cut across the highway when it was obviously not a good idea to. I was doing the speed limit and swerved into the ditch to avoid hitting him. Swiped my rear end on a rubbery/plastic pole marking an electrical box when I went in the ditch.
If you google maps Radford Auto Auction it took place right in front of it. He was coming off of (get this) 666 and trying to go across 177 (road I was traveling on).
Deputy put him down as at fault in the report. I have full coverage with a $500 deductible. Doubt I'm going to pay anything out of pocket in the end as I wasn't at fault (but who know when dealing with insurance companies). How much do you guys think this repair is gonna run total?

Can someone aware me on window tinting?
Does it matter what film they use? I called some fags in my area and these guys wanted $350 for some carbon ceramic shit that they said blocks 90% of the heat. I park outside and live in Florida so I really want to block as much heat as possible but want only 25% tint.
Some other guys quoted me at $120 for my 05 Mustang GT

That 120 shit will be purple in no time. 350 is about what i spent a decade ago, fair price for large windowed cars from a reputable shop using top grade products. Dont get illegal tint either. If you state says 25% is the limit then putting 25% on your car will likely be illegal as there will be some factory tint so you will fail if the cop tests your tint with a light meter. Depending on where you live this may or may not be an issue. 25% is also dark as fuck. You wont be able to see shit at night, especially out of your rear or back windows that are already tinted and will be limo tibt when you throw that 25% on top of it. I had 32% and id never go darker. My current car has none, I just use a sunshade.

Paid $60 bucks online and watched YouTube videos and did my ram and ranger. Went 5% on my ranger and that was a mistake. Can't see anything at night. Went 20% all around on my ram. It works and looks alright. I wish I could've found some 15% or something similar. I live in Montana so I don't have the humidity that you have. I still have days 100+ degrees but it's a dry heat. I can't give you any input about carbon tint stuff. But it's really not hard to tint your own shit. Just take your time and be very detailed

What are some things I should look for that are automatic red flags? I've heard rust just in front of the rear wheels=instant walk away.

Alright guys, so I have a 1990 miata and no history on it. I know I'm the 11'th or 12'th owner or somewhere around there. I also know the engine has been swapped out for a 1.8 liter. So my question is how do I determine the year of my engine if it hasn't been recorded.. It's in-between 94-97. I am looking to buy the megasquirt pnp2 and I have to choose a year and the options are 94-95 and 96-97.. Soooo what do I choose??? I'm confused
