Ford had the chance to bring their European division to the states and they blew it spectacularly. Merkur was priced too high and only sold in Lincoln/Mercury dealers. I've owned three XR4Ti's and two Scorpios. Some of the best cars I've ever driven.

The Scorpio had a turning radius tighter than a 911, and the softest leather interior ever. Not to mention the electric reclining BACK FUCKING SEATS and self dampening struts that made it ride like it was on a cloud. The XR was a four banger turbocharged RWD, essentialy what /o/ mastrubates over. You have extremely bad taste in cars.
