Hey /o/ have you ever regretted selling your first car? I know I have.
>Be me in high school 3 yrs ago
>gf at the time was being really naggy about visiting her
>I drove pic related so it wasn't the best on mileage
>me being the horny teenager I was thought more about pussy than the car I enjoyed
>ended up selling it for $1100
>haven't owned a decent car since
Also general first car thread
I still own it.

First care was an 82 monte carlo.
Piece of shit it was. Left me stranded more than once. 0-60 was about 13 seconds. I left it to rot on my grandparents land in the middle of nowhere.
Regret it now. Realize I didn't take care of it like I should. Would like to find a similar one to do as a project car at some point.
>picture not of actual car
>rusted through frame rail and wheel well
>220k+ miles
>ricer taillights
>flipups were winkups
>hooned it for half a year straight
>sent to graveyard after
>hood popped open on highway and smashed glass roof

2004 impala when I first bought for $1500, 4 years ago.
Was nice when I first got it, reliable and got me where I needed to go.
Now its over 200k miles and its starting to show it. Rusting frame, transmission is shitty, cops keep getting on my ass about the tint (NY sucks balls).
It was a nice starter car, had my fun with it and learned a lot about car maintenance. but I am buying a 94 9c1 caprice, so the Impala is gonna be gone pretty soon.
I'll probably miss it for the nostalgia, but the car itself is quickly becoming shit.

I didn't want these feels dammit OP

Ugly rims, sweet truck
I just sold my first car yesterday. Some older lady bought it as a graduation/Easter present for her grandson.
Feels bittersweet man.

>bought Toyota Pickup that looks very much like pic related off of qt going to college
>it was passed down through her family from her grandfather who bought it originally
>girl only used it to go to the beach which was only a mile from their house
>mint condition only 75k miles
>I hated it because high schooler at the time, wanted a "cool car"
>also I knew what I had
>bought it for $2200 from the girl
>sold it a month later for $5000
>ended up buying an 80s Buick and the trans went out on it
>didn't realize that the truck would've easily seen another 200k miles
Should've kept the truck
>bought a 1986 rx7 N/A when i was 16 and didn't know any better (1700$)
>didn't know anything about rotaries
>buncha weird ass problems with the car
>electrics look like they were done by a monkey
>paint was done by a monkey, drips everywhere, car used to be red, you can tell
>shocks were all fucked, changed them and put on lowering springs
>top mounts were fucked, but I was too broke to fix them
>Literally never finished a journey in that car, it broke down every single time
>Sat on my driveway for about a year after I blew a coolant hose and it somehow fucked the crank angle sensor
>sold it to some guy who came to my door for 2k
>the crazy bastard winter drove it (winterpeg canada)
>He's trying to sell it but the coolant seals have gone
I've got an 88' volvo 740 turbo wagon now, a much better built car, but not nearly as fun. One day I'm gonna bite the rotary bullet again
In the process of selling my first car because I go back and forth on whether or not I want to sell it. 68 mercury cougar that was fantastic in high school not too long ago, easily the coolest car in the parking lot and got a lot of attention but now I drive a Chevy blazer. 4 doors and 4 wheel drive is kickass, but it will never ever just have that cool factor that the cougar does

Nope, because I still have it and have no plans on selling it

2000 Ford ranger for first truck fag
I got it as a gift from the family to celebrate getting my license. I did get a small lift kit for it and had some decent sized tires on it. One night I was driving home from work and some east islander ran into my bed. He ended up buckling the bed and damaging the frame, so it was declared totaled.
rip the only ford I liked.
>gray bumper b/c i have a fetish for running into snowbanks
>be 2 years ago
>vic catches on fire on the way to work
>leave it with my dad and take the truck
>come back
>fucking gone
>immediately think it was stolen
>find it sitting at picrelated bottom of fucking hill in a ravine against a tree
car rolled all the way down the driveway, across the road, down a ravine, and into a tree, because this dumbass put it in neutral to take the vic out and fucking left with the keys still in the ignition and everything.
inb4 its a zj nothing of value lost
it was $800 that i had to go out and replace because an idiot touched my car

>forgot pic

Still own it.

> be in low point in life
> alcoholic
> really need a job, requires car, only had 2k
> drive around in job sites with pic related that i bought for cheap
> beat the shit out of it, be drunk and crash it and shit, dents every where, didn't think the car would last 2- 3 years, I live in pretty extream weather too and it sits outside
> get life together, get dope as fuck jobs
> money now, figured I would get something a bit nicer once the honda dies
> 7 years later the piece of shit is sill running
at this point im attached to thing, I had to remove some seats and clean it once because alcoholic me threw up and mould grew, otherwise the thing has driven me through my worse god damn what a fucking tough car, shit has like almost 200k, I bought with a ton of k too
Thank you little honda, you're the best, best 2000 I ever spent
>>14726676
Fuckin this
>2005 toyota corolla
>beat the shit out of it because young and dumb
>took it to autocross because why not
>5 speed manual, actually pretty fun
>used it to teach at least 10 people stick
>been saying for years that imma swap in a 2zz and 6-speed when the engine dies
>never does, now I just loan it to poor family members because I have something nicer.
>>14725901
Yes considering the fucking cunt I sold it to wrecked it 3 weeks after he bought it
My current car is my first car. I'm 22.
My first car, my 1990 Nissan 300ZX. I wanted to get rid of it, but I love this thing. It was my dream car since I was six. I wanted to sell it and buy a WRX or G35, but I just couldn't stand letting this fall in the hands of someone else.
So I kept it and used the money I saved to retire it as my DD, and bought a Jetta.
Now I love them both and don't want to get rid of neither.

N/A?
>>14726499
Is your last name Prior and did you go to Richland High?
Not my first car, but the car that lit the fire. I've been chasing the high ever since.
Still own my first car. I don't know when/if I'll sell it
Not my car, my car was much shittier looking.
>Bought for 1200 cash, have 80k miles on it, cracked front bumper, cheap-ass fart tube exhaust, 5 speed manual.
>Get it home, and fuel pump is leaking.
>Fuck.
>Get it fixed. Learn to drive stick.
>First day sucks. Stall out constantly. Second day, I get the hang of it. Third day, shifting really well.
>DD the car for five years. Had to replace the window crank, alternator, radio, and a handful of other stuff. A/C dies during summer, but still driving it.
>Suddenly, fucking floods hit. It's raining like crazy, can barely see.
>Young dumb me keeps driving despite this, had a shitty day at work, just want to get home.
>Hit fucking deep ass puddle. Fuck!
>Manage to almost get through it...
>Jackass in an SUV drives on the under direction, wave of water washes over the car and kills it.
>Have to push it the rest of the way home.
>Engine is totally fucked. Car is dead.
That car lasted me five years, and probably would have lasted longer if I wasn't a fucking dumb ass.
