Red flag? Do women know jack shit about manuals? Will the gearbox be a wreck? She is trying to leverage it as "female driven" like that's a good thing

My wife has only driven manual her whole life.

Even worse is if she has a teenage son she let use the car to learn/hoon in.

my grandmother drives manual and she could probably out-drive most of the anons on /o/. She's a madwoman, she even takes her shitty Mazda hatch to the track every once in a while.
anyway, see if you can take it for a test-drive, at least then you'll be able to tell if there's any glaring issues

I know a few women that drive manual, one has had like 10 manual v8s and drives horribly, can't go fast, can't revmatch.
The others don't bother to revmatch. Some women are into driving fast, but I've just never seen one drive flawlessly. I guess its a hypothetical situation, but still, if the clutch and syncros feel fine, then woman owned "can" be a good thing...Just depends. Some have their oil changed every 5k, others never change any fluids, crank it right up, drive full speed, and are just ignorant of all things mechanical. Well...That's like 80% of them

Can i fuck your grandma?
here in Europe all the grandmas drive stick without problems
it's not rocket science buddy
My not-so-bright sister-in-law drives a manual with no problems from hearsay (never ridden with her or can be sure her service history) yet my wife absolutely refuses to try to learn.
When I bought my fox body, I had the PO drive it while I rode along. That might seem kind of beta but I wanted to see how he shifted and then I goaded him into really opening it up so if it blew I wouldn't be responsible. I learned about its loose 2nd and timing issues that way which aided in my negotiations.
You can probably use this same method with a woman who's selling a manual although it'll be pretty much the opposite things you're watching/listening for.
