I'm looking to get a bike that I can ride in all weather (especially snow). My first instinct was a dual sport but I spend almost all my time on road, so a dual sport would be wasted. Right now I'm thinking about pic related. With a good knobby tire I think it would be good in the snow then good on road when it's dry. What do you think?

What's your winter riding gear budget?
Do you fully understand the term "wind chill"?

Just get a car
Fatass scramblers aren't even worth a damn on dirt surfaces. What makes you think it would be able to deal with a light dusting of snow?
What makes you think you'll be able to deal with any snow without studded tires?
What makes you think someone won't slide the fuck into you?
Ever wonder why socal is full of bikes when oregon is full of imprezas and jeeps?

A Ducati Scrambler would be about as good in the snow as a GS500 desu, and about ten times as expensive to fix when you drop it.
You're looking good for a KLR650/DR650 if you want a good blend of offroad/on road desu.

DRZ400.
Seriously, it's an incredibly reliable bike.

XR650R is the best bet.
