Why was visibility completely forgotten as an important safety feature? Why is it okay for automakers to advertise that you don't need to pay attention since their cars can save you from accidents anyway? If blind-spots are going to be this terrible, parking/lane change sensors should be obligatory zero-cost features.

One of my vehicles is a Toyota Yaris, my A to B beater. Over 10 years old, ~200,000km.
Not a single light bulb has burnt out in the life of the vehicle. Not one.
What the hell is Toyota making their lights out of? What sorcery is this?
Anyways, what small oddities have you noticed about any of your cars?
Also, any other Yaris owners out there who have the same bizarre indestructible light bulbs?

This car is basically no faster than it was almost 20 years ago. Every year, it gains a little bit of power, and even more weight. Other sports cars have improved their performance so much, why hasn't the STI?
I feel it should be, at the *very least*, where the Focus RS is right now.

Mazda? Mechanical reliable, but the body will rust enough that you'll want to scrap it anyway.
Nissan? Not unreliable, but not exceptionally reliable either, pretty average.

I owe $1000 to the DMV before I can renew my tags due to two years worth of parking tickets. What can I do? I'm an impoverished college student and I need to drove every day.
