ok
hello?
Is it me you're looking for?
I can see it in your eyes
pls help me /o/
I have set my eyes on an 2003 EDM ep3, should I do it?
>legit 220k km mileage
>costs 3k EUR
However, I found another previous owner on a local Honda forum, the car has been used on track quite often it seems.
replies from other ep3 owners would be really aprreciated

>the car has been used on track quite often
Don't bother.
>>16524757
yeah lad but desu it's not like type-r's are bought by pastors who use em on sundays to get to church only
>>16524044
OP, I have a DC5 Type R and had a EP3 before this.
I tracked it every month and did many hill runs in it as well as drove it everyday to and from work (100km each way).
They are incredible cars and one of the strongest motors from Honda with the H22a being my second fav.
If it's in good condition, regardless of being tracked or not, I would get it. You'll learn a lot driving it if you've never had a fast FWD before. They are set up very good from factory and once you start adding adjustable suspension gear you'll learn heaps, as well as have a very very well performing car.
The only issue I ever had with my K series motor was when a bird got stuck in the radiator and it heated up a little, but it never effected the motor overall, just at that certain time.
I plan to sell my DC5 soon and am going to buy the new Type R Civic that comes out this year.
I also own an SS ute (Australian poster) and have owned many many many Hondas. The EP3 is still my most memorable car.
Hope this helps.

I was thinking of putting some tire lettering on my Mk2 Golf...is this big time rice? Or does it depend on the tire? I have Avons, which are decent, but they're not exactly Hoosiers. Also, what would be the best way of doing this?
>>16523641
>is this big time rice?
yes.
>what would be the best way of doing this?
not doing it.
if you ever give anyone on here any opertunity to insult somthing you better damn well believe they will shit talk it
its really popular right now
just know that those white letters DO stain and they DO get dirty
>>16523641

Holy shit I came here to post that too. Thought that's what the car was.
Want a fun toy/track slut. Why shouldn't I do this?
That thing is badass, does it have a brand?
>>16523206
It's an Exocet. Tube frame chassis that bolts onto a miata skateboard. That one has a LS swap cause retarded power/weight was desired.
>>16523206
Looks like an MEV exocet with additional aero
They're Miata based, so they don't usually come with an LS
What is/was the best full size van ever created, and why?

>Reduced total around 25kg.
Racekar now. I can feel it's lighter. No placebo.

>>16522773
When is Toyota gonna go nuts and discontinue it or make it a unibody crossover?
>>16522605
They won't because that's the Highlander's market.
You're confusing Toyota with Jeep.
>>16522605
It's already pretty shit
>>16522640
>assmad GM fangirl detected
>it has a better power/weight ratio than a Veron
>You can really use the whole powerband on the road
>these things are absolutely bulletproof
>it handles like it's on rails
my step dad died and gave me his 2006 civic ex. it has 83000 miles on it. oil change was last done in july. other than that, i know nothing about any other routine maintenance.
i don't know shit about cars and do not have tools to perform anything myself.
how do i figure out what maintenance needs to be done?
Change oil and coolant. Check owners manual about transmission. Change spark plugs and air filter.
If it has a timing belt you are about due, might as well change water pump as well if I'm correct about Honda's using the timing belt to run the water pump.
When the "oil life" meter starts getting low it will give you a code of letters and numbers on your gauge cluster. Those letters and numbers identify what it needs, consult your manual.
>>16522286
>i know nothing about any other routine maintenance.
Read the owners manual. If you never had a car before, then you should read it. Different companies have different quality manuals. My GM car's manual taught me quite a bit about the various items in a car that needed to be checked out or to be aware of in order to make use of them. Your honda manual tells you how to check oil.
The manual also has a section on expected routine maintenance and even a suggested schedule. Checking oil level and coolant occasionally is expected. You can easily add more oil as necessary if it is low on the dipstick.
hey /o/
I recently had to get my car painted because of a peel gone wild.
The guys told me to wait 2 weeks before I took it to any car washes. So I waited a month.
When i was using the free vacuums i SAW scratches all across the top of the trunk. The rest of the car is fine. I remembered thinking the guy with the large brush was a little rough before i went through. (he hit the back while the other guy did the front)
Anyway I spoke to a manager, got the run around and now I'm ready to sue. Am I being too dramatic?
My paint was literally flawless before I ran it through. I rarely drive this car, and haven't touched the paint before.
They're denying it's their fault. $130 will get me a court date at small claims.
There's more to the story but this is getting long winded. Thoughts?
>maaco tier paint job
>paying someone to brush wash your car
Sounds like instead of looking for lawsuits you should just stop making bad decisions
>>16520880
it was maaco lol. i really just went for the free vacuums. so you just wrote to take a jab? Thanks for the bump anyway
>>16520886

Subaru awd is shit compared to actual 4x4
>>16519734
That or a 4x4 truck, both better have a locker in the rear. 4x4 with a locker(s) beats even the best AWD systems in the snow. You can slam into a curb with a truck and keep going, Do that in a Subaru and you'll need a flat bed and new control arms. If you slide into a ditch in a 4x4 you might have a slight chance of getting out, good luck doing that in a Subaru with 3 inches of ground clearance.
