Want a fun toy/track slut. Why shouldn't I do this?
That thing is badass, does it have a brand?

It's an Exocet. Tube frame chassis that bolts onto a miata skateboard. That one has a LS swap cause retarded power/weight was desired.

Looks like an MEV exocet with additional aero
They're Miata based, so they don't usually come with an LS

Sounds brutal, would love to see these things where i live (netherlands).
All i see here are kitcars with a 2.0l Ford engine

It is. All the miata aftermarket while driving open wheel and weighing some 700#s less. Guy up by me did a J series swap...seems like a pretty good balance of weight/power. LS is damn awesome but probably a bit overkill.

...I should move to burgerland

If you want. Can't say if it's better or worse only ever been here. Here's a video for your enjoyment. https://youtu.be/QIG3ondmOU0

I wouldn't mind getting one of those with some rotary triangle magic
>>16523250
Well you can't now, the Donald will build a wall and make you pay for it.

I'll make sure i'm not entering the states through Mexico... I'm not taco coloured or muslim, trumpi should be happy to import me
>>16523263
I'm over the triangle. Had two. Guzzle fuel, finicky, lulz that honda must has v8 it has so much more tourque than me. Neat and I miss the buzz at higher rpms but just not that good compared to traditional inline 4 honestly.

We have mad shit, it just costs a fuckton.
Yes, that's a modernized Lotus Seven with carbon fiber body panels and an Audi inline 5 turbo under the hood, which puts out like 400hp.

I've never owned one so I'm definitely taken by curiousity. I probably would never get one to daily (as much as I like the rx8's suicide doors) but as a track toy or in something like OP's chassis I think I would love the light weight and high revs

They're only getting older and worse. Go buy one and drive it for a few months if you're genuinely intrested. If you're handy you can buy/drive/sell and pretty much get to try an unlimited number of sub $5 cars free. It's one of my hobbies. I'm on number 63 now and my spreadsheet says I'm up a few bucks overall and I drove lots of things I otherwise wouldn't have and turned some real buckets into reliable rigs that will go several more years for someone before going to the scrap yard. I really like it I've learned tons and had fun. Now if I factor in labor it's a big loss but all my other hobbies cost way more and I don't get paid to do them either.
