Would you drive a Chevrolet Cruze ?

Naw, too heavy and boring, Don't think my MTB would fit in the back of the new hatch. The 1.4 turbo pulls decently for a cheap shitbox tho. Overall it's better than spending the extra 10k on a Civic.

is it really that heavy?

If someone let me, sure.

Wouldn't own one though, that's for sure.

So I'm comparing the Boxer engine to the Rotary [wankel] engine.

Which is better ?
What are the flaws of both ?
What are the advantages of both ?

If you were to let the wankel engine [rotary] compete with one other engine. which one would it be.
So I'm looking for rivals basically.

I wouldn't, because it can't compete.

Much like gm.

Radial engines.
Your typical 1.3L radial will consume as much oil and fuel as a 2800CID radial
>>
>>16518857
are you saying that the wankel is the worse one out there.
So if you were to compare it with inline, boxer, or V it would lose...

Also i would really appreciate it if you told me in what aspects the wankel engine would lose.

Thank you.

$100k budget for a daily driver. Will be driving about 60 miles daily on open freeways

my other choices is probably a Stingray and $30k worth of cocaine and dakimakuras

If it's a daily, you might want to look into something grand tour-ish. Bmw 7 series etc. You'll quickly grow tired of daily-ing a sports car.

Buy a v6 accord for 10-15k. You're going to kill your resale on anything nice. Then get a funner car for the weekends.

My buddy lost his liscense 7 years ago. He was dailying his Grand Cherokee with the 6 pot, but when he lost it he parked it in his garage and it has sat there for 7 YEARS. He didn't prep or drain anything. He said he was starting it every weeks or so until it ran out of gas, at which point he left it be.

Now he wants me to help him get it running again. What's my plan of attack /o/?

So after 7 years I don't have to worry about any fluids or anything? Shouldn't I at least squirt some oil into the cylinders or anything?

I get that these engines are bulletproof but damn.
>>
>>16518041
replace battery
replace air filters
replace oil and brake fluid (power steering fluid and tranny fluid should be ok, but check levels)
thoroughly check all rubber parts (hoses, belts, dust sleeves in the suspension)
if the timing belt is old, replace it to be on the safe side

if it was in a garage (ie no rain), you should be good to go
make sure you check everything for leaks again after running it for a bit

if he put the parking brake on, the pads are likely rusted stuck so you'll have to pry them apart

You're going to have to go to a shop. We use computer matching, or just order the paint directly from the manufacturer, or they tell us what paint to mix. This isn't something you can do yourself for it to come out correctly. You also have to blend the rest of the surrounding body or else it'd look pretty bad
>>
>>16518164

Are you truthful about the condition of your car when you sell it?

Do you list problems you know of or try to disguise it?

Do you list the price as something you think is fair for what you get or do you try to Jew people?
37 posts and 4 images submitted.
>>
Sellers are pretty honest here, apart from the shady sandnigger used car dealers. Private sellers will usually be pretty honest and some even go out of their way to photograph damage.
>>
>>16517807
If you label a vehicle AS IS you don't have to disclose shit. If the buyer is too inept to find the issues, too bad. It's a life lesson for him/her.

I don't understand either. I've done the real thing and I fucking hated it. I love driving, but long distance trucking is soul draining
>>
>>16517802
Im not sure, its must be boring following traffic laws in a videogame and spending hours of slow trucking to get to a destination. plus the hundreds of dollars people spend in wheels and shifters.

i was chatting with the guy who drove the recovery truck when my car broke down a while ago. he plays ETS2. i found it really strange that someone would play a game that's the same thing as their day job
