That was actually pretty aggravating to watch.

How would carrying have helped this situation? She had a gun to her head before she even knew she was under attack, and even if she did live long enough to draw, there was a second shooter behind her.
>>29079648
I hate to victim blame, but this is justified. Poor kid though.

What does /k/ think of Escape from Tarkov now that new info has arisen on it?Looks pretty sweet though I don't like getting sick rifles only for some fucker to steal it from me. Will it be another DayZ? This seems to be the urban survival sim alot of you want if it keeps its promises and doesnt go p2w even tough its pay one play forever
>>29079421
Also that fucking shotgun in the OP image is sexy as fuck the pump is perfect
>>29079421
What new info? we knew all the shit in the video. Stop shilling or be honest about it.
>>29079421
I'm glad they opted for realistic damage, would have been a huge shame if they had all that great weapon functionality but went with HP like The Division.
Looks cool, then again I'm a sucker for the "post apocalyptic" eastern European setting like STALKER or Metro.
I hear a lot of reason to be skeptical, stemming from their previous game (I haven't really looked into it) which I think they ruined with micro transactions.
People have been lusting after a good survival game for years now and I can't believe a big name developer hasn't jumped on the opportunity.
I won't include The Division in that because it's fucking awful.

It doesn't count if your country thinks you're too irresponsible to own one.
whats the best 7.62x51 enfield out there?
I would love to add one to my arsenal but don't want another snowflake round to hunt down
Holy shit. If this is true it might actually make me want to play a Battlefield game again.

>inb4 take it to /v/. Don't like you didn't play the hell out of Bad Company.
Hard to believe if DICE is doing it. BC2 was great but Battlefield 4 and 5 were shit. WW1 doesn't seem to fit into their mold.
'War of Rights' looks promising, though.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll just keep trying to cash in on Call of Duty's success and set it in the future or something. Real shame they lost sight of what made the BF series fun to begin with.
Video games are a waste of time. Even more so than /k/.

Started becoming interested in the Mini 14 as my first rifle. Less tactical (generally) than the AR, does /k/ have anything for or against it?
>>29077087
What's your intended use
>>29077087
/k/ hates it because it costs slightly more and doesnt take AR bits.
It shoots slightly worse than an AR but its a carbine for messing with. Buy one, they are stupid simple to work on and easy to shoot. My first rifle was a Mini 30 and it was stupid fun.
>>29077142
Mostly for range time, I suppose self defense if I needed it. I just want a .223 rifle without the tacticool look, but I've been told it isn't as accurate as AR
Does anyone else have issues with hoarding ammunition?
I'm 22, make 60k a year, and have very few expenses. I spend at least 5-6 hundred on ammo each month. I haven't even gone shooting that much this winter, and yet I feel compelled to keep stocking up. So far I have about 5k rounds of 7.62x39, 1500 rounds of 7.62x54r, 1000 rounds of 8mm Mauser, and 2-3k of 9mm.
Sounds like where I am hoping to be this time ish next year
>>29077056
I'd have an issue if I wasn't so poor.
Pls gib 54r.
It could be a psychological issue, but you're not harming anyone and it's not harming you too badly financially, so eh. There are worse vices to have.
And to answer your question, no I don't have that problem. Mine is quite the opposite actually. If I have disposable income, I'd rather spend it on a new gun for the collection, but I don't have any ammo. Like right now, I literally have 15 9mm hollow points, and that's pretty much it.
if crew served weapons make the majority of infantry kills in any conflict, why must infantry squads have so many riflemen?
>>29075428
>Why doesn't every man carry a 30 pound machine gun+bipod, and the same or more in ammo
Because manlets and feminists ruined everything. May as well give them a rocket launcher, a sidearm and a shotgun while we're at it.
>>29075466
a 11 man squad could easily support 3 mg's in addition to the default GL if a few rifles were sacrificed to operate as weapons teams
>>29075428
What is combined arms? Positioning and mobility is much more important in infantry than firepower (which is still important). If we're going on just casualties per weapon, why not just get rid of infantry altogether and only use NBC weapons?
>SEOUL: North Korea on Saturday (Feb 27) boasted of a newly developed anti-tank weapon that its leader said was so powerful it could turn the most heavily armoured enemy tanks into "boiled pumpkin".

Is West Point worth it?
>>29072464
You'd never get in so what's the point of asking this question?
You want to be in the actual upper class? Yes.
West Point is a stepping stone. Nothing more.
No.
Go to a REAL college. Drink away your weekends and fuck qt from class. Smoke bowls, sleep in sometimes.
THEN take your worthwhile degree and experiences and go to OCS or enlist if you actually want to do stuff.
Academy is for lifers who want to spend their careers sucking dick and kissing ass to end their career at WESTCOM VICEGEOPLAT SECRETARY having never set foot in the field for the last 12 years.
Anyone tried gunpowder mixed with cocaine(AKA "brown-brown)?
I'm considering breaking up a few shotgun shells this weekend to try it out, but I'm scared of side effects (like turning into a chimp and fighting a gorilla war) or lead poisoning. Apparently the nitroglycerin in the gunpowder acts as a vasodilator and gets you extra fun.
Eh, dying of old age is overrated anyway. Have fun OP.
Nah, you want to buy FFF black powder, shotgun powder is pelletized and won't go over well
>>29071946
I will thanks!
>>29071951
Couldn't I just crush the shit out of it? Is there lot's of lead still in the pellets?
