I recently shot a friend's Zastava M57AA, and the whole "Tokarev with an actual, working safety" thing was nice. I liked the way it felt. So now I want to CC one, or the 9mm version. Is this a bad idea? Or am I going to get shit on for LOL ONLY 9+1?
>>28903857
Single stack magazines are only worth it in .45, feel free to CC a 1911 but please keep that eurotrash nonsense in your safe. It's nothing but a novelty after all.
>>28903857
i really like zastava and other slavshit guns, i say go for it, mags and replacement parts might be a bitch tho senpai
>>28903857
zastava got u senpai
but the m57 i finger fucked had one of the grittiest triggers I've ever felt on a modern production handgun. for a SA, a 15lb trigger that breaks like a inch wide pine board is a dealbreaker.
What guns don't get the recognition they deserve? The LH9 was completely overshadowed by the shitty fucking VP9.
yup I really want one But can't find any cheap I think i'm just gonna wait till next christmas
Steyr L9-A1
A few people shit on the LH9 becuase
>hur, you can get a DP51 for cheaper
Well, no shit a used gun is cheaper than a new gun. People also shit on the high MSRP, but the LH9 street price is usually equivalent to other comparable handguns. It's not very widely available though, so maybe a tad higher than other guns becuase of that. It seems like there are even fewer places that stock them now and most people just order from Lionheart directly during black firday.
Do you think if I e-mailed this to Kel-Tec they would make it?
It hooks up to the gas block with only minimally drilling and using the gas to power a small generator that recharges the tritium iron sights on your typical Ar-15. People are always complaining about how quickly their tritium sights die so this seems like a no brainer. It could also be used to electrify the bullets.
I kind of want one and I drew a thing in paint.

What info can /k/ provide on the CZ P01?
Is CZ euroshit? Worth purchasing for first ccw? Should I expect reliability issues or is pistol fine?
Get it. Get it now.
>>28903264
Any particular reason? I mean I hear great things about it but I'm afraid of being shilled.
>>28903251
never tried the p01 but all the cz I've handled felt great and functioned fine with everything from shit reman ammo to hollowpoints.
What caliber does /k/ think is the best for small game to deer/medium game hunting. I.e. Possum to mule deer. I would say .243
>>28903196
I would agree, but maybe mention 25-06 Rem.
That or .308 is a good round, will cover all north american game
>>28903196
.308, .30-30 and .30-06 are the holy trinity of hunting ammo.
Can we get a collapsible baton thread?
The most primal of all weapon. A stick. Very caveman like.
I know nothing about them. Educate me. Who makes the good ones. Do you carry one?
>>28903149
I'm pretty sure in a lot of places you can get in a lot of shit for using one, especially since I think most say it as a nonlethal weapon when it actually has the capacity to do a lot of permanent damage as well as kill in untrained hands.

Hey /k/, I just finished shaving my legs and I was wondering what benefits shaving legs would have to operators and such.
>>28902892
you swim faster
Obviously shaving your legs is strategically advantageous for the following reasons:
1. your smooth skin means you can better pleasure your comrades on long deployments
2. if captured by the goatfucker enemy instead of immediately killing you they may attempt to rape you which leaves them briefly vulnerable
3. less drag. More potential for drag, though, if you know what I mean.

It makes it easier go undercover as a faggot
So was he DEA or CIA?
He's listed in pre-production as DEA, but wouldn't that invalidate the whole "we need an LEO to operate on domestic soil" subplot with Emily Blunt's FBI character?
Couldn't decide whether to take this to /tv/ or here, but I thought that /tv/ would just shitpost and /k/ might have an answer.
Reason why I'm curious is that I had a conversation with former SAC of DEA SOD Derek Maltz and he got me all hyped up on DEA operations.
>>28902808
Fuck you and fuck the DEA. They are just as bad as the ATF or worse.

Does pop culture still cause spikes in the sales of certain guns?
Hardmode: no COD/vidya.
Dirty Harry movies caused a huge run on .44 magnum revolvers. Will Deadpool send people to buy Deagle brand Deagles?
>>28902082
No, I dont think it will because its very unclear what weapon he is using in the "12 rounds" scene.
In Dirty Harry he VERY specifically names the .44 magnum. In something like Counter Strike the term "Deagle" came into EXISTENCE but it didn't take long for the pedantic nature of the internet/gaming community to track down its real life inspiration, the Desert Eagle. Specifically naming a weapon might increase its sales, but Deadpool never really attaches any importance to any specific weapon he uses.
>>28902082
>Will Deadpool send people to buy Deagle brand Deagles?
Probably not, but only because Deadpool isn't some huge pop culture icon. Sure, he has a cult following but he's not somebody like Clint in Dirty Harry.
>Does pop culture still causes spikes in the sales of certain guns?
Yes. Case in point, after Jurassic World came out there was a spike in the sale of the gun used in the film, the Marlin Model 1895SBL. I talked to a couple FFL owners in my area, and they each said how they had several of those guns on order because people came in wanting them.
Will deadpool send people to buy strapons?
>Glocks have no safety!
Four times in the last two days on two different forums. Someone designs a safety system that auto-engages three safeties every time you aren't firing the gun and that you can't manually turn off and people think it DOESN'T HAVE EVEN ONE.
mfw
That doesn't mean it's a safety. That means it's retarded. Glocks are all garbage just like the people who invented and use them. The only gun worth having is a Cz. Everything else is pleb tier dogshit.
Take your pseudo "safety" and shove it, putting a safety in the trigger is fucking stupid.
>>28901787
>in the trigger
I can only hope you're baiting and don't actually think that's how it works...
When people say "safety" in regards to firearms 99% of the time they're referring to an external manual safety.
You need to accept that there's a difference between the strict industry definition of the term and the colloquial definition.

So did Rhodesia use any other Assault Rifle besides the FN FAL

You're a bigger failure than Zimbabwe
What do you prefer and why?
Spyderco for me. Spidy hole along seals the deal. Most favorite way to open besides a flipper. I like that they offer a lot of great well built knives that are cheap too. Little things like the Ladybug or beaters like the Endura 4 can't be beat on value and utility.
Benchmarked makes quality products. But so does Spyder. Both can easily rival each other in that quality.
I vote Spyderco simply because they're slightly cheaper.
>>28900951
>spending that much on a knife
why tho
having never owned either, I can say with absolute certainty that kershaw is better than both.
Unlike Ausfalia who have to depend on the unreliable failure F-35, Indonesia is one of the handful of countries with the technology and resources to develop its own indigenous stealth fifth generation fighter by 2020
>Indonesia to Start Producing IFX Jet Fighters in 2020
>TEMPO.CO, Bandung - State aircraft company, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, will start producing jet fighters "Indonesian Fighter Xperiment (IFX)" in 2020, its President Director, Budi Santoso, said.
>"We will begin producing them in 2020 and continue for the next 20 years," he said here on Thursday.
>The aircraft will be produced to meet the Indonesian militarys need for two squadrons of jet fighters and will be sold abroad as well, Budi added.

It's a poor fag may-may. I own glocks, sig, cz, hk. Sig is pretty fucking great. The only reason I carry glock is because it's the best 10mm i can get under 600.
Recently got a midwest industries quad rail and a bunch of battle packs.
Oddly enough the quad rail is only about half an ounce heavier than the magpul MOE that it replaced.
