Nice!
Sneks hiss, not cans op
Why come everyone on /k/ and everybody stateside makes the AR-15 sound like some mean lean precision machine? Looking at reviews of e.g. FN and Stag guns they are 1.5-2 MOA rifles out of the box with premium ammo. To me this would be really just unacceptable in any new factory built rifle. Is there some inherent thing with the AR platform? Getting 3 MOA 5 round groups at 100 yards with some medium tier AR-15 sounds ridiculously bad to me.
To clear up what I mean - my CZ 527 shot half MOA five round groups at 100 yards with S&B M193.
Chrome lined meme and muh milspec
An AR with a good barrel like WOA, arperformance, Rainier etc. is definitely moa capable or less.
>>32634703
Ar15s can be easily be built sub moa
So I go to a catholic school, and am a senior. Im also a Poolee in the marine corps. My MOS is going to be infantry. Long story short my friend drew a pic of one of our teachers who always gets on to us for being late to class. So I wrote out in bubbles "you late fucks are sick sons of birches" so I found out from my friend one of the other teachers found it and said there will be consequences. I'm assuming I'll be suspended. Should I tell my recruiter? Or just keep quiet about it. And will this get me kicked out of the DEP?
>>32634677
Also the teacher knows it was me, he found it in my stuff

So whats the answer?
So I'm having trouble deciding between a revolver or a pistol for my C.C. I was wondering if anybody on /k/ had experience doing so with both types of handgun and was hoping to get their thoughts on the subject. I'd also be interested in seeing opinions from those that champion one over the other( I prefer this type of handgun because... ). I also know both have their negatives, positives and come in various styles( single/double action, semi-auto, etc. ) and would enjoy reading your opinions about which style of your preferred choice of handgun. Push me off the fence and into one yard or the other, /k/.
[Image taken from The Truth About Guns.]
either a glock 19 gen 3 or gen 4
Gen 3
>cheaper
Gen 4
>ambi mag release (but you need to use the gen 4 mags if its in lefty mode)
>comes with 3 magazines so wew
honestly both handguns are superbly reliabe. make sure to clean it like any weapon and you'll have no problems.
some people hate the glocks trigger, but thats just a training issue. it also has no manual safety so if that irks you then don't.

Welcome to guns. Before you walk into a store, try to get in the habbit of calling your revolver a pistol too. Lol.
It's revolver vs autoloader, bud.
A lot of single stacks these days hide better than a revolver. I carry an xds. Super slim. You won't print much if at all with aiwb. Winter months wearing bigger clothing I can hide owb larger guns. Just my two Jew cents.
>>32634581
I've carried a lot of different guns over the least few decades, and maybe it's just laziness, but maybe it's wisdom...
But I've been carrying S&W 642 for about the last 5 years.
>goes in front pocket with pocket holster
>works with the business casual look
>or shorts
>or a suit
>pull trigger, goes boom
>bad grip, no problem
>upside down, and pulling trigger with pinky finger, sure, it'll work
>most gunfights are under 5 rounds
So, it's kind of the bare minimum, but it's easy and effective.
oooh rah
Ya really love the idea of a braindead meathead in charge

Who is this guy? I assume he's a pro-Muslim cuck?
What are your thoughts on airsoft?
Faggy but I'd try with friends
>>32634410
They're practically real soldiers and doesn't afraid of anything
>>32634410
you'll end up spending more on a toy gun than a real gun
So with CVN-80 going to named "Enterprise", does this mean we're finally over the bullshit self-congratulatory trend of naming aircraft carriers after politicians. It's monarchical and crass. I really can't see a USS George W. Bush, USS William Clinton, USS Barrack Obama, or USS Donald J. Trump.
The following names are free:
Lexington
Saratoga
Ranger
Yorktown
Hornet
Intrepid
Ticonderoga (scheduled for decommissioning in 2019)
Bunker Hill
Midway
Constellation
If we let these go to more marine ferries, I'm going to die.

>It's monarchical

>>32634269
It is.
>had a drive by at work today
>have had at least 1 shooting a week near building for the last 3 months
>this includes a cop being ambushed
>fucker used a colt python the absolute mad man
>know I need to get another job
>can't bring myself to
>never felt this alive
>never felt more motivate
>not in a long time
The fuck is wrong with me? What should I do?
My take is, if you don't want to be shot in the drive-by be in the car. Take it for what it's worth.
>>32634209
Suggestion, start buying body armor and packing something that can easily penetrate car doors yet easily concealable.
I love AR500 steel plates, but that's when I double stack'em. I don't trust their ratings. Go for E SAPI plates and shit like that.
However, if this reinforces your hope for AR500 steel, go for it.
>>32634209
Move
Name something more useless than this.
Protip:............Can't.
>>32634095
Whoever designed this was interested in money, not a weapon.
Only pro to AR platform is accuracy....when it works.
It be a good weapon if it was actually reliable.
My long gun should not have so many fuckin pieces to it.
>>32634095
ur dik lmao
what are some cool, not cringy tattoos to get when youre in the military?
>>32633932

https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2017/S879
"This bill seeks to reestablish the rights of law abiding citizens' in rural areas of the state by limiting the application of the SAFE Act
to Suffolk, Nassau, Kings, Queens, Richmond, New York, Bronx and Westchester Counties." Lets hope this passes, NY /k/ommandos. You can fill out a thing to support the bill here. I'm not sure it'll pass but we can hope. Sorry if this belongs on /pol/ but if this goes through maybe we can see other ban states follow this. It's not a total repeal but it would be a step in the right direction.
>>32633851
Also I meant the bill is in senate, not congress. Oops.
>>32633851
Suffolk is rural in most parts, why do we get fucked too?
>>32634894
Becuase you are too close to the jew epicenter. Sorry.
So here's a pretty good SOF story
>My friends reservist buddy gets a chance to act as OPFOR in an exercise
>"Enemy" is Joint Task Force 2, think Canadian Delta Force or SAS, and he is basically just a living target for their entertainment
>positions himself at the end of a long hallway that makes a great chokepoint and just waits
>then, suddenly, a guy who looks like an operator from hell rounds the corner and drops my friend's buddy with seven sim rounds to the chest faster than he can tactically shit himself.
Rounds were essentially normal casings with a plastic capsule full of red chalk for the bullet, hurt like shit apparently.
>weekend warrior gets rekt by an operator
COOL STORY BRO GOT MORE???
>>32633784
Who cares
Stop lying on the internet
>>32633784
No. That's not a good story.
You know there's lots of vets here and lots of us have fucked with sim rounds right?
>Got shot 7 times by a le oper8or
Are dime drills still a viable training method?
>>32633718
Why wouldn't they be? It teaches trigger control better than most methods. At least with handguns.
Can someone explain what this is?
I have no idea
>>32634086
>balance dime on end of barrel
>dont let it fall of while pulling trigger/holding rifle
Why is it that the general convention with naming firearms is numbers or letters? I know there are exceptions like Taurus weapons and Cobrays unfortunate bullshit, but for the most part weapons manufacturers don't like to designate their platforms with names other than pre/suffixes like "scout". Is there any reason for this, or it's just an unspoken rule?
At least the past few decades I would assume gun panic. You mentioned cobray, the name "streetsweeper" alone was just a bad decision in the end. Think of the damage the designation "AR-15" has had...
>>32633521
The military designates their firearms using that naming convention, which has carried over the years. Using letters and numbers allows for the company to accurately and quickly describe their firearm without having a fuckhuge name. Some may also do it to appear more militaristic in the civilian market.
Coming up with good names for stuff is really hard, especially when you have like... 40 guns that are basically exactly the same to name.
>he's actually considering a Glock 20/29 for CC
I guess you could explain? or nah
>>32633507
who cares what some random arab carries?
>>32633507
Is that Drake?
