Has anyone here got one of these?
How does it shoot?
How nicely does it cycle?
Is it picky on ammo?
Thinking about picking up the .22 version.
for 1k it better be a God damn dream
>>33299123
Are they really a grand?
is it smart to only buy ammo with cash? If there really is no registry couldn't the government just ask to see transaction records? they would then know what you own and how much aprox ammo you have
>>33298442
I bet you dont use a proxy to get on here. It's too late man, they're already in your home.
last time i check it wasn't illegal to buy ammo.
>>33298453
>implying they don't have a list of people who use proxies
there is no escape.
What's the "the Barbie of rifles but not as basic and common as an AR15" AR15
In other words, an overlooked rifle with just as much customization potential as an AR15 while being just as practical?
>>33298425
Any 5.56 modern combat rifle that isn't an AR.

I guess im part of the ND club... story time:
>be me
>be 40 minuets ago.
>putting new trigger in AR.
>slap it all back together
>throw upper on it
(no magazine in)
>pull back charging handle
>nothing comes out
>let go
>BOOMREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
>I didn't even pull the trigger
>nothing came out when I pulled charging handle back
>I'm freaking out
Well looks like I'm done with guns for a while. Does anybody have any other fun hobbies?
>>33298040
Check the catalog.
Protip: there's always an ND thread.

Always pull the charging handle a few times

freediving. exercising, bicycling.
legos? nah, just learn freediving
Just got my first Hi-Point carbine. Most military surplus rifles seem to show the distance which the rear sight is set at, for elevation, in actual numerical units. But for the iron sights on this sucker, I just see lines.
What's the default zeroed distance for the Hi Point Carbines? I have a 4595TS (the carbine in .45 ACP). Also, what increments do the iron sights go up in in terms of elevation? Finally, any miscellaneous information any other Hi-Point 95TS series owners have about the carbine would be great. It really is a cool fucking gun and I can't wait to take it out to the range.
>>33298016
These make excellent truck guns. My bro has one in his Ford Ranger.
>>33298061
Sounds like it. From what I understand, the first-generation 995TS carbines left a lot to be desired in terms of the quality, but these new ones have pretty great accuracy and even a bolt hold-open mechanism. Can't be beat when you consider the only other .45 carbines with marginally-better performance cost 3x as much.
B U M P
WHY THE FUCK DOES EVERY SINGLE OUTDOOR RANGE HAVE TO BE A PRIVATE CLUB WITH BULLSHIT APPILCATION REQUIREMENTS LIKE NEEDING AN NRA MEMBERSHIP OR HAVING TO HAVE A FUCKING SPONSOR FUUUCK. WHY CAN'T SOMEONE JUST RUN A PUBLIC OUTDOOR RANGE FOR FUCKS SAKE.
FUUUUUUCK.
>>33297924
'cause it keeps out the commies and the faggots.

To keep low IQ morons like you out

Even if you don't totally agree with what they do, they are the only ones fighting for gun rights when it is a democrat controlled congress.
Well? Go on.
>>33297331
good stuff, should adopt seperate uniforms than federal forces and adopt AKs for shits and giggles
>>33297331
Texas being Texas
>>33297331
More states should have them. To bad they are so often underfunded
I love guns, but why do people keep saying that owning guns is about "resisting tyranny"? If owning guns is about resisting tyranny, then why didn't gun owners have a revolution after the Waco Massacre? Burning people to death for their religious beliefs is something that ISIS would do, but when Bill Clinton did it, gun owners (with the exception of brave patriots like Timothy McVeigh), did nothing about it.
>>33297147
Because that would require moving from the couch.
>>33297147
don't reply to bait threads
>>33297147
>Why didn't gun owners have a revolution after the Waco Massacre?
The media had even more control over the populace back then, and fertilizer truck bombs were deemed more effective.
Pat describes it as an essential, so tell me /k/, what kind of lube do you keep in your range bag?
Some fools sent me some holy anointing oil, i keep that in AR buttstock.

Gun Jesus, is that you?
meme aside, can anyone identify the brand of pants being worn by Leo in this scene?
>>33296935
these are the 5.11 Tactical tapered field slacks
Would 10mm out of a 16 inch barrel be as effective as 5.56 within 100 yards from a damage/ stopping power perspective? I know you can't quantify those however we can come close with kinetic energy dispersion rates and penetration depths so don't give me that shit.
>>33296921
Are you talking specifically for a vector? I'm pretty sure that isn't an actual barrel on there, its just a pinned cover to say it has a 16in barrel.
Dont know enough about the ballistics to give an answer to the question, curious to see
>>33296966
Yea it's actually a barrel. That's just a barrel shroud
Bump for interest
Hey /k/ got my first shotgun, the KRX 12ga from tristar. Got it for about 500, anyone have any experience with it?

That actually looks kinda' cool.
AR15 profile with low key modern design.
>that guy at the range who loads his own rounds and forces you to try his reloads
I tried offering him my brass to leave but that only encouraged him. Now he thinks we have a thing and every week he expects me to shoot his dangerous reloads. It wouldn't bother me but he's very new to reloading (read: each round is basically a chance I could die) and he sits there watching my face every shot to see how much I like shooting them. How do you deal with people like this?
'Sorry but I only shoot commercial ammo/my own reloads'
Are you a man or a speechless monkey?
>>33296542
>How do you deal with people like this?
You communicate like a normal human being and tell him you'd rather shoot your own ammo.
>>33296542
>forces you
Unless he's putting a gun in your face and telling you "Fire my reloads or die", he isn't "forcing" you to do anything; you're just a pushover.
New here, but I spent way too long starring at those thick af womern post, lord. I'm thinking of selling a shot gun I purchased from an estate, long ago. It's a double barrel parker, I don't know the serial... any way do yall have any input on selling or should I just keep it?
Full pic
is there a serial number somewhere?
check under the forend, the bottom of the barrel lump, and under the barrels on the action.
>>33296492
I would say not a hope in hell. Most guns for the commercial market at the time did not have them.
>>33296459
Any pics of the barrel markings and watertable?
>that time a blimp attacked a submarine.
>>33296450
It's not actually that weird.
During WW I, a Zeppelin tried to bomb a British warship in the North Sea. The ship captain simply watched the Zeppelin's rudder, and when it turned one way, he turned the other. Meanwhile, the ship's crew blazed away at it with pistols and rifles. Something like this would have been pretty impressive to watch.
>>33296450
>that time the nazis used a hybrid plane/blimp stolen from the french to kill russians armed with pitchforks
