New here, but I spent way too long starring at those thick af womern post, lord. I'm thinking of selling a shot gun I purchased from an estate, long ago. It's a double barrel parker, I don't know the serial... any way do yall have any input on selling or should I just keep it?
Full pic
is there a serial number somewhere?
check under the forend, the bottom of the barrel lump, and under the barrels on the action.

I would say not a hope in hell. Most guns for the commercial market at the time did not have them.

Any pics of the barrel markings and watertable?

It's got one under the barrel, I inherited one identical to that from my g-pa a few years ago, I would definitely keep it

>laminated steel
That's for black powder (probably 2 1/2 inch shells too) and are not safe for modern shot shells.

Laminated steel scribed on the barrel
It's probably from the early 20s, mine is from 1923

Parker stopped using Damascus barrels before the 20's
I paid 50 for it. I think I might get a gun shop to appraise it tomorrow. I don't think I'm going to sell it, I want to know the value and learn more about.
100% agree on getting it appraised, did with mine and it made it just that more valuable to me
