Was thinking of getting some friends in paintball gear and shooting ratshot .22 at each other. Ratshot won't break skin, right? So if we're all in paintballing stuff it should be totally fine.

Sharing most recent trip. Me and a mate went innawoods beyond my family's farm past the property line.

Found an old barn, woods filled with old tires and random objects, and piles of bricks where buildings used to be. Rumor is that this area used to be a railroad trestle with some supporting buildings or something. Beyond that area, we found an old fuel tank down by a creek and other neat shit.

Found a nice hill near a pile of bricks that used to be a cottage. Made camp there and listened to the coyotes all night in the field below us while we finished off the vodka.

Sup, /k.

I've had a hard on for FN's P90 since I was a kid, and that only got worse after a guy at the range let me have a go with his SBR PS90.

I already have a decent AR and a G19, so I feel as though I have the basics covered, and I want to fill the gap between those two weapons with a subgun. It's compact, bullpup design is pretty sexy, and I would probably send in a Form 4 on it at some point so it would be super compact. 50 round mags and AP capabilities aren't bad either, although the ammo is expensive as fuck.

Before I seriously considered the PS90, I was thinking about getting a RONI enclosure or something similar for the Glock, but I'm starting to think that PS90 would serve me better, even if it is a bit larger.

What do you think? Is the PS90 a meme gun? Are there any alternatives you think I should consider?

You already have an AR and a G19 for boring, practical guns. If you want to SG-1 cosplay with the PS90 go for it.

Too bad the market has fucked these. They used to go for 800$, now you're lucky to get them for 1,400.
Ammo prices are kinda fucked compared to 9mm and 45

You should also tape a razor blade to your back, right against your skin. You know, so it can cut your back while you move around.

Which has better stopping power and does the .44 recoil that much more than a .357? I want a high powered pistol that could penetrate or at least crush someone in a bullet proof vest, something with more bang than a 9mm.
I know they both have a similar 1 shot stopping rate & i intend to use hollow points with a 6" barrel to reduce recoil.

>muh stopping power meme
If you really want to take something down in one shot just conceal carry a .500 S&W magnum. Or hell just carry your own artillery strike team in your back pocket.

What kind of a dumb question is that, of course the bigger round is going to have much more recoil.

Unless you plan on taking on SWAT teams in the back alleys of Detroit or doing federal bank heists you don't need a .44 magnum for conceal carry. That shit is for bears and moose and charging animals that's 500 pounds of fury and death. A .44 magnum won't penetrate bulletproof vests anyway. Neither will a .357 magnum.

Why are you planning on shooting cops anyway?

A .357 magnum has higher rates of putting down a person with one shot center mass than a .44 magnum. In any case enjoy your eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee if you do use it for personal defense.

Just get a J frame .38 special or something.
>>
>>33295387
I'm not going to be shooting cops, I just want something that could stop someone faster than a 9mm, which I already have.
I said it should at least crush the ribs of someone in a vest, which I'm fairly certain a .44 would do.
>>
>>33295387
It's not specifically for cc either. Just a gun to have.

Even a broken clock can be right twice a day. The P-38 did have issues in the ETO, but at the time, it was the only fighter that had the endurance to escort bombers into Germany. And versus other 2-engine heavy fighters, the P-38 was the most maneuverable.
>>
>>33294784
I was mostly talking about that last line. The P-51 was far from the best fighter of WWII in any capacity.

What?

Woah, wtf. Explain?

Is the 380acp walther ppk actually a good conceal carry option?

Like is it legit a good gun to go for in terms of conceal carrying?

Isn't the 380acp weaker than the 9mm and wouldn't it have a hard time punching through denim jackets and stopping attackers effectively?

Forgive my ignorance but is it really worth it to get a walther ppk?

>>
Is it worrth it? Not really. If you are willing to go with .380 there are smaller lighter options that are more modern AND cheaper. If you want 9mm luger then this isnt your gun. If you want to carry a cool gun then get this gun.

TL;DR
Not really worth it. Spend the money on something modern

How would you defend an island in the 1920s-1940s?

Pic related. I feel like it would be possible to do something similar with the 13.5" turrets from the super-dreadnoughts Great Britain was scrapping after WW1

What is your opinion about 3D printed guns and gun accessories? Is there any future to it? Which parts or accessories would be better built by 3D printing?

With 3D printing you could build a gun or a replacement part in a day or less.

>What is your opinion about 3D printed guns and gun accessories?
Poor.
Maybe for some rando little plastic bits that aren't easy to replicate by hand and aren't subject to much wear and tear?

If you want a bare-bones gun to kill someone with at close range, hardware store will give you better results.

If you want a receiver, you can cast a better one from epoxy, or have a machinist cut you a real one in a few hours.

It's just shitty quality and the printing equipment is MUCH more expensive than most alternatives, and some simple guns could be made even faster than a 3D printer could print them. Your only advantage is that it does complex things quickly.

pic related. Far more lethal, reliable, inexpensive and probably faster to make than any 3D printed gun.
>>
>>33291946
What if your aim is to make one for more than a single shot?

You can use other materials than plastic. The whole weapon could be made lighter, easier to modify. Replacement of parts would be much easier.

The technology now is uite expensive, but in a few years time it could become the leading manufacturing process.

I realize your goal here is just to jerk off about 3D printing. It will never be fast or cost effective enough to be used in any real production scenario, of which there are very few that cannot be filled with EDM instead. The idea of 3D printing as a dangerous form of weapons proliferation is an even bigger meme than "muh glock is invisible to metal detectors".

Hard to find decent modeen designs since bullpups and battle rifles are both outdated.
So I choose the 7.62 NATO FAMAS prototype.
