Why are soldiers the only government job where state employees are trained through mental and/or physical abuse? Employee on employee harassment is illegal.
Why aren't mailmen trained with attack dogs or fire hoses then?
>well, you see, soldiers jobs are dangerous and...
And that makes abuse okay? And if the employees job conditions are so dangerous, then they should be shut down. There's laws against that too.

When someone says:
>"HURP LOOK AT THIS AR I *BUILT*"
I give them the same look I would give them if they just got done shopping at pic related and said
>"HURP LOOK AT THIS DESK I *BUILT*"
Please, stop using the words "build" and "AR" in the same sentence. You just make yourself look really, really incompetent and sad.
Correct word: Assemble. As in:
>"I assembled this AR."
or
>"I assembled this Ikea furniture."
Also, there's no reason to be upset that I compared your favorite gun to Ikea. It's just a simple and obvious comparison, and one that's utterly apt and accurate. If this upsets you, please stop living in your own fantasy land where whanging in a couple of roll pins makes you a "builder". It doesn't. You're an "assembler", just like the college girl holding the black-and-white cartoon instructions and carefully tightening cam-locks in her dorm room. You're both "assembling".
Live in reality.
>>34008108
Agreed, but there really is no reason to make a thread other than to see assblasted ARkiddies rant and rave and seeth over how right you are.
So...trolling I guess.
Pretty sure your interaction is more like someone within earshot said those words, you roll your eyes and mutter your post, and nothing else happened.
Go back to your containment thread.
Shot p-10, good gun, not particularly exciting.
Reset is really short. Ambi-controls are done well. It feels like the same weight as my p-07.
It's good but other than using Glock holsters and having a really short reset there's nothing particularly exciting and I shoot my p-07 just as well if not better.

Seems like a good gun but I would have preferred a thicker grip.
Tactical shit you'll never use but want. Pic related-night vision goggles. For night jiggling.
Same with the NODS. Was tossing up getting a PVS14 or 7 a while back but decided against it because for me who'd use it maybe once a year the cost isn't worth it, let alone the prospect of some dingledong accidentally flashing them with a light and wrecking the tubes autogated or not was pretty offputting.
Then I decided that maybe thermal would be better, can't wreck that easily right? Except it's even more expensive. Got super excited for the FLIR's Q14B, but they're STILL not out yet and I hear from the grapevine that if you mount them on a weapon they can't hold up to recoil. That and the refresh rate isn't as good as touted to be.
So I got a high speed camera instead.

>For night jiggling.
best laugh I've had today
The company I work for looked into distributing a night vision scope (non-rifle, just a monocular). We ended up passing on it, but I snagged the scope and brought it home.
I played with it once, and it has sat in a drawer with the countless flashlights that I have amassed over the years.

Whats the source on this?
Hi /K/,
Well, last year I wanted a new Glock 17, and stumbled into one of those Vicker's brand Glocks. I figured it would be fine, and the few upgrades would be ok.
Well, the wilson sights are terrible. I like a fiber optic front with a straight black rear sight, but the notch is too big and curved at the bottom and I hate them. I was dropping 25 yard shots regularly at the range last week.
Anyway, I'm thinking about swapping over to Dawson Precision Charger sights. Same concept (fiber optic front, plain black rear), but a better and tighter rear sight notch.
Any other suggestions of sights to look at.
Serious shooters only please, mallninja's opinions not welcome.
>>34007735
There's a lot of bullshit they throw on Glocks now. IMO it's best to buy a stock one and change what you don't like as you go.
Buying new sights isn't going to make you a better shooter. The reason the rear notch is so wide is to make sure you're on target at 25yds and out. I've used Warren and WC sights with a wide U-Notch. The problem isn't the sights, it's you
