He was using a Colt LE. Where the colt fan boys now? Oh right, no where to be seen except in jail or 6 feet under.

Assuming the model of airsoft gun you chose looked genuine enough and you removed/painted over the orange tip, could an airsoft gun make a viable weapon? I think it has a few things going for it:

1.) The mere presence of a gun (in this case what seems to be a gun) very often deters a criminal from carrying out an attack.

2.) Airsoft BBs are very cheap compared to regular ammo and can be used for practice in your own yard without danger.

3.) Airsoft guns have virtually no recoil allowing for very fast follow up shots.

4.) There are no NFA regulations on airsoft so you can easily take advantage of full-auto firepower. They are pretty quiet and easily hearing safe without a silencer.

5.) Although non-lethal, airsoft BBs could stop an attacker via pain compliance or blindness if you targeted sensitive areas such as the eyes or throat with repeated shots.

Better off with pepper spray or a bat

Specifically http://armscor.com/firearms/rock-series/rock-ultra-fs-45-acp/

I have experience with the GI model that fired 150 rounds with no issue.

Any experiences or hang ups with the RIA TAC series 1911s?

It's the same gun, just has more features. Fit and finish will be the same.

so it's just a gucci GI? rock
>>
RIA skimps on QC but makes up for it with customer service. If you get a lemon, send it in. If yours is fine, enjoy your cheap 1911.

I want to buy a glock 34 or glock 17L and handload a pressure greater than a reloading book would suggest to get 124 grain Hornady XTP at 1400 fps because I want to brag that my 9mm is more powerful than my friend's 4 inch 357mag. I don't have a target pistol in 9mm so it would fill that niche too and run normal factory loads through it.

Am I retard?

Have any of you ever held or fired an H&K Mk 23 or Desert Eagle? Which would you recommend for a good way to blow a tax refund?

Mk 23
pros:
>built like a tank
>will run for days
>socom and solid snek
cons:
>12+1 capacity of 45 acp
>???

Desert Eagle
pros:
>gas operated handgun, neato
>can fire revolver cartridges as well as .50 AE
>gold tiger stripe IS an option
cons:
>horror stories of not cycling .357 and even .44
>costs more to run
>rails make the gun look ugly and it loses its iconic look

I'm torn. Of course if I get the mk23, I'll need to drop money on a suppressor and LAM. With deagle I would probably have to mana port it, and possibly titanium coat.

Wat do?

They're honestly about the same size but I would go with the desert eagle just because it's a fucking desert eagle. I'd go for an original Mk1 made by IMI because they seem to have overall better quality.

Pic related, mine.

Not really, but it gets dirty extremely quickly and that can cause issues. Expect about 100 rounds from each cleaning

Hello newfriend, I see you, like many others are enjoying their time off school for the summer months. :^)

My advice would be to take some time and do something that in the local parlance is referred to as "lurk more" in order to gain the requisite knowledge to not embarrass oneself on an anonymous Sumatran baseball card forum.

Hey /k/,

I'd like to ask for your advice.
I just finished school in a free state and plan to move out to California where my cousins live and find a job.
I currently have zero guns but would like to own a handgun and have fired a few memes in the past (1911, 92fs, ruger mkiii...)

What gun would you recommend I buy before moving to CA?

My advice would be to stay the hell away from California.
>>
>>33996190
As a California citizen. You really want to think about coming before you get guns. (I love revolvers, can't buy korth or manhurin, or a colt in double action) im stuck with ruger and S&W.
New laws starting NEXT year makes a required background check that takes weeks before you can get/buy ammo.
Everythingis more expensive out here.
The only positive things i can say is weed is legal out here and women are beautiful but usually extra slutty. Outside of that FUCK california.
Also, you can only somthing like 800 guns here (not own, out of all the guns in the world only 800 are legal here or someshit like that) again, fuck california.

>>33998314
