Both are pretty much the same, except a screen-less tablet is a lot better than cintiq because with a cintiq, your hand covers up your work.

Intuos is too small. Get Cintiq or Huion instead.

If not, a ton of physical labor pays well, may it be security guard (16-22CAD but you need a license) ( waste time walking around), airport guards ( 17-19 CAD), construction workers ( 39 CAD) etc.

If you want to draw stuff for people though, you should figure out what kind of stuff you want to draw.

Draw high quality drawings and such a lot and post it in Facebook and other social media. Do really good work and show it around your town. Let cafes and places sell it for a commission and leave a business card that says affordable portaits and landscapes ect.

Figure out what people want and make samples of it, people will just come to you.
