Does anyone take Clauseitz seirously? That guys theories where as rigged as an old mans dick on viagra.

So is it correct to assume that the most influential military strategist to ever live is an advocate of Sun Tzu?

Does /His/ have any other Military strategist to rival John Boyd?

Bet you can't stump me :)

>The Top Gun training program had none of the restrictions the Air Force had on airto-air combat and, in developing the training syllabus, the Top Gun instructor cadre sought information from all quarters. At one point, they invited John Boyd, now an Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, to brief the Top Gun instructors about his energy maneuverabilityî charts. While energy maneuverability was by now a common buzzword in the air-to-air community, Boydís briefing did not go well. Boyd, who had not flown for over five years, insisted it was impossible for an F-4 to win a dogfight with the highly maneuverable MiG-17. The Top Gun instructors disagreed (at least two had shot down MiG-17s in dogfights), but Boyd was adamant in saying it was impossible. The Top Gun 103 instructors left the briefing unimpressed by Boyd and his plethora of charts and graphs, and the unitís commander, Commander Ron Mugs McKeown, said later: "never trust anyone who would rather kick your ass with a slide rule than with a jet."

Why based guillotine fell out favor? It is relatively painless and pretty quick method of punishment. Electric chairs are fucking barbarian compared to such timeless classic.

People stayed aware of what was happening around their head for quite some time when they got guillotined.

Everything is barbaric compared to lethal injection.

Lets try to have a civil discussion.

Why does it seem that less women achieve enlightenment than men? Ive heard a few teachings say that the best a woman can do is be reborn as a man but Im not sure of the credibility of these interpretations. I know that there are women who are said to have achieved enlightenment like Wu Zeitan, who even claimed to be the Maitreya Buddha, but it just seems like a practice that is mostly dominated by men. Does it have to do with women not being allowed to practice these things freely? Or do they just not think of themselves as people who could or should strive to reach enlightenment? Or could it be that the way they think is just less suited for liberation?

Because women were discouraged from scholarly pursuits and religious dedication that involved them giving up their procreative abilities, while men were encouraged to do the same?
>>
> ''Ananda, if women had not renounced their household lives and ordained in the religion of the Tathagata, the holy life would have lasted long, the core teaching of Buddhism would have remained for a thousand years. Because the ordination of women has occurred in this religion of the Tathagata, the holy life will not last long; the True Dharma will last for only 500 years. Ananda, in whatever religion women are ordained, that religion will not last long. As families that have more women than men are easily destroyed by robbers, as a plentiful rice-field once infested by rice worms will not long remain, as a sugarcane field invaded by red rust will not long remain, even so the True Dharma will not last long. Ananda, as a man builds a large surrounding dike to prevent the flow of water, I prescribe the Eight Heavy Duties for the nuns to adhere to for the rest of their lives without fail.
Buddhist Pali Canon, Vin. II, 256
>With the preponderance of vice, O Krishna, the women of the family become immoral; and from the immorality of women, O descendent of Vrishni, unwanted progeny are born.
Bhagavad Gita 1:41
>Of the men who came into the world, those who were cowards or led unrighteous lives may with reason be supposed to have changed into the nature of women in the second generation.
Plato, Timaeus
>But I will give men as the price for fire an evil thing in which they may all be glad of heart while they embrace their own destruction.'...
>And he called this woman Pandora
Hesiod, Works and Days, II, 54-82

Really makes you think.
>>
> Why does it seem that less women achieve enlightenment than men?
Because men are more deluded enough to thing that they achieved something. It is well known in psychiatry that mental health isn't men strongest point.

What were the two sides to Martin Luther King Jr? Obviously, you get the father of civil rights type honourifics, but there's definitely more to him with the consideration of him cheating on his wife and the like.

Proper answer with sources preferable, need some preparation for next year's college.

He's probably a more grey protagonist than how he is depicted, as is the case with Mandela under further inspection of his life.

But at least he brought out the good in niggers, and dare I say even transformed some into decent, hard-working blacks. Arguably not what BLM is doing.

Unless that counts as bestiality. How far back do you have to go before it isn't?
>>
>>1574095
you cant just forge all the bones that show them to be different from normal chimps. The conspiracy would have to go beyond many scientific organisations making it impossible to be true. but why do you believe they are forgery and simply chimps. is it that you have swallowed forgery, and the biggest forgery of them all is the semitic religion and its wash of history.

Does future discussion belong to /his/?

The biggest political question of the 21st century is what the hell is going to happen with China.

They have real dangers on account of demographics, and the basic fact that it's easier to go from a low income country to middle income than middle income to high income. That last leap requires at least moderate protections against corruption and a working educational system.

So it'll be fun seeing what happens when there's 30 million men without women, the one child generation is taking care of two parents and two children apiece, and there is no longer that sweet 9% a year economic growth.

Could the British Empire have defeated the Third Reich if the USA and USSR had never gotten involved?

No Eastern Front, no Lend-Lease, etc. USSR and USA both mind their own business and trade with both Britain and Germany without playing favorites.

How would WWII turn out?
36 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>1574039
I say that while an invasion of the British Isles would still be very unlikely to succede, Britain would have had hard times "alone" in the conflict. Rommel and the italians probably would have taken North Africa, and with that seized control over the Suez canal. Without the murricans the japs could have had concentrated their efforts against Australia and India.
Victory for the brits? Very hard
Complete defeat? Still unlikely

Stalemate at best with the UK conceding Europe, and many of its territories.

Had Dunkirk happened and the soviets weren't there, and the US weren't aiding.

The war would've ended there.

Although looking back it would've been in hitlers best interest to have never signed the non-agression pact with the Soviets and attacked them first.

Likely GB and the US would not have given two fucks and stayed neutral.
