Hey /his/ I've been thinking a lot about this question and I'm curious to what everyone thinks.
Is love nothing more than a biological feeling? Or is there something more to it that transcends this reality. Is there anything really "special" about love (emotions maybe in general) or is the idea of true love etc all a bunch of bullshit.
I would love (no pun intended) to believe that there is something /more/ to love than just biology, that it can't be created from matter. Am I just being self absorbed?
You can't transcend reality as anything that transcends it, cease ot be real.
What happens in the material world has spiritual significance.
Why it is always a love and not pain or feeling of a surprise, horror, disgust or just pure fucking madness? There are so many emotions to choose from, but it is always the one of the most boring ones.

Resolution:
The European Parliament.
A. having regard to the revelation by several European governments of the existence for 40 years of a clandestine intelligence and armed operations organization in several Member States of the Community,
B. whereas for over 40 years this organization has eluded all democratic controls and has been run by the secret services of the states concerned in collaboration with NATO.
C. fearing the danger that such clandestine networks may have interfered illegally in the internal political affairs of Member States or may still do so.
D. whereas in certain Member States military secret services (or uncontrolled branches thereof) were involved in serious cases of terrorism and crime as evidenced by various judicial inquiries.
E. whereas these organizations operated and continue to operate completely outside the law since they are not subject to any parliamentary control and frequently those holding the highest government and constitutional posts have claimed to be in the dark as to these matters.
Great topic, unfortunately hardly anyone has ever heard of it.
>>1920060
>>1920045
F. whereas the various 'GLADIO' organizations have at their disposal independent arsenals and military resources which give them an unknown strike potential, thereby jeopardizing the democratic structures of the countries in which they are operating or have been operating,
G. greatly concerned at the existence of decision-making and operational bodies which are not subject to any form of democratic control and are of a completely clandestine nature at a time when greater Community cooperation in the field of security is a constant subject of discussion

Statue unveiled next to the Kremlin. Already triggered western media reporting on how it's "controversial". The only controversy about it is the fact that he is shared as a patriarch by Ukraine as well.
Why are Ukrainians such agonizing individuals? Why can't they just accept the fact that they and Russians are brothers that share their history.
pretty cool statue

Russians are imbeciles and natural born slaves.
Pic rel should have happened. At least under pooland they would develop.
I remember that Russia was pretty okay with that idea that, but King of Poland wanted to be King of Sweden instead and wasn't interested.

>I still can't believe that this shit actually worked.
Dmitri wasn't just some random dude who pretended to be Tsar's lost heir. He actually did look very much like real Dmitri to the point that people who knew the real prince recognized him. He also had some knowledge about Russia's court life and noble families. Not much, but sufficiently enough to confirm that he spent at least some time as a child at the court in Moscow.

>I remember that Russia was pretty okay with that idea that, but King of Poland wanted to be King of Sweden instead and wasn't interested.
Nope, Polish king pussied out of a project to make his son the Tsar. To be fair, the king was most likely right, the Polish prince would most likely be murdered very quickly.

Maybe he regrets the shock capitalism that made the early Federation so painful to the population
Maybe he thinks communism is defunct so another Soviet bloc would be counterproductive
Maybe he enjoys having oligarchs and killing them once in a while

"It's normal to feel bad about things being different from when you grew up, but the Soviet Union sucked."
“Almost everybody believes in God when they are children, and polls show the vast majority of adults continue to believe in God--although a distinct minority does not. It turns out that almost everyone goes through a period of questioning the existence of God, usually during their teen years. “Does God really exist?” we ask ourselves. It is obviously a very important question. IF you ever began to question the existence of the traditional God, to wonder--because of things that happened or doubts that arose in your mind--if this God really exists, HOW did you decide? Below are ten things that people might do in this situation to help them make of their minds.
I talked it over with friends and acquaintances who believed in God.
I read books by atheists or agnostics to see what their arguments were.
I brought my questions to a religious authority, such as a minister, priest or rabbi.
I talked with my parents, asking for their help in figuring things out.
I talked with people who had decided God did not exist, or who had big doubts about it.
I prayed for enlightenment and guidance.
I studied up on scientific findings that would challenge the traditional account of God,
creation, etc.
I read scriptures, or other religious books, believing they would contain the answers to my
questions.
I purposely read books, plays, etc. that went against my family’s religious beliefs.
I made a determined effort to figure it out for myself, not going to anyone else nor seeking
any new information.
Which one of these did you do the most to reach your decision?
What else did you do, more than anything else except the answer you just gave? Did you do something else besides these two? If so, what?
(If you never questioned the existence of God, then skip these questions.)”
Define "God"
not me, I disbelieved the concept of God since I was 5
>>1919619
Maybe it's the way I was raised but faith is not a matter of logic. Faith is seeing every logical reason noto to believe and still believing anyway. If you could prove God is real then no would have faith they would just be acting in their own material benefit. I however lack faith.
Explain how separation isn't an illusion if:
>You have been unilaterally dragged into existence
>You have been created independently by 'other' entities
How are you separate from anything in consciousness, matter - if this is true

Steps to answering your question:
1. Go outside, to your back yard, or somewhere else private where people won't disturb you
2. Strip naked.
3. Wait
Clothes are practical you moron. In hot climates they keep the sun from rendering your skin a red blanket of pain, and in cold climates they keep you from freezing to death. Humans don't have a specific environment they have to stick to, and this is specifically because of the fact that we have clothes.
