I did this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqwbqxzsA2g
fun idea but IG pics aren't fair use so get ready for angry C&Ds from self-indulged selfie whores who want no part in this
>>247949
I'm not sure about that. Fair use is not about if the original content is copyrighted or not, it is how you re-use it, for exemple you can use content owned by someone else as quotation or parody. In this case I don't know if it's fair use or not, but you can only report it if you own the original content and it would really be bad luck if someone in this actually saw the video and take the time to report it because he/she appear for 1/10 second
Very cool, liked the smile stock photos as well.
Business ones felt out of place, could be from the meme association I have for them though (most likely)
Any idea on how to create the line/blueprint kind of pattern going on with this artwork? I can't work out how it's been done, but it looks awesome :(

3d model exported on wireframe
>>248817
Exactly what I was looking for, thank you very much. I knew what I wanted I just didn't know what it was, thanks
autocad/ sketchup. sketchup has a free version. you can make a some figures or download something from the online librar. then chose in options to visualize only "wireframed" model and exported in jpg, then use it in photshop or somethin
Can someone photoshop this into a castle or something? Thanks.
No.

Merry christmas, you filthy animal, and a happy new year.

Can you make something presentable in Gimp?
try to make something that would impress an average person
bump, interested in results
Very not-pro guy here. I do art and printing for local bands and stuff like that, totally diy, use Gimp for everything that needs digital editing.
Not sure how impressive /gd/ would find this, but it's making me money and it was done in Gimp.

I'm writing a pretty big assignment on how the golden ratio is used in graphic design. If anyone on here is a professional designer or would otherwise consider themselves an expert, I would really appreciate a statement on the subject
The golden ratio might just be the mathematical representation of aesthetically near-perfect dimensions. You find it everywhere in nature which may be why it seems so pleasing to the human eye. Flowers, trees, animals (including humans) all more often than not have dimensions roughly equating phi. Buildings, tools, furniture and most things that we make also follow this convention very often even subconsciously. Often in graphics, drawing, or web design I'll go over my work with a golden rectangle and refine proportions to tighten up the work. It almost always improves the design.

How are you going to reference an anonymous shitter from 4chan?...You won't know if the source is credible.
>>247033
>4chan, A Hacker named (2015, December 11).
what do you guys think about Kurzgesagt?
http://kurzgesagt.org/
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsXVk37bltHxD1rDPwtNM8Q
I cant say much about the quality of their videos from a graphic design standpoint, but the science-y stuff is cool i guess.
Flat design is nice but the Liberal propaganda isn't.
i enjoy it very much but i'm just a common man.
Can anyone recommend a good stylus for digital painting and sketching?
I was thinking of getting something from Adonit, but wasn't sure if they worked on Wacom tablets.
I wasn't able to find any good information on the googles so I thought I'd ask here.
Bump
i am also interested in this thread
>>247956
the pic related one is god awful. not sure what to recommend, but DON'T buy that one.
>>247967
Just an example picture. I wasn't planning on getting it. I was thinking of one of the pressure sensitive, maybe a JOT Touch.
Do they only work on Touch Screens or do they also work on Wacom/Bamboo tablets?
Rate my Office icons please

hey /gd/, i'm working on a logo for someone who does film related stuff and I'm trying to turn this C into a film reel with film spinning around it, but I can't seem to get it right. Any ideas?
Do people still make movies with film?
>>249030
Not really, outside of weird experimental shit anyway, but film reels/cameras are still recognizable by most people and make for effective iconography.
>>249031
Of course they still shoot on film.
The new Star Wars was shot on film for example:

Could we please all dump some "aesthetics"?
