Sure did OP, your saved login is accessible to every application that can access that part of your filesystem. It used to be highly frowned upon to import data other browsers use without user's consent but I guess the botnet's hunger is just too great now.

Hey anons,

Back again with my macOS / iOS / tvOS 4chan app, although currently only focused on macOS. Would you use this app? What features would you want (besides .webm, auto-refresh, etc.)

Dark theme, thread watcher, small footprint, better looking formatting
I'm telling you since I'm secretly hoping the new macbooks are good enough to switch. Insane, I know.

> Dark theme

already on it senpai

> thread watcher

good idea. I want to tie into notifications for this - I'd use it I think. Right now, you can basically turn on "auto-refresh" for a thread window and then watch as the updates roll in.

> small footprint

like a little-mode? you can collapse the left pane - would you want the text to get smaller?

> better looking formatting

I'm all ears for suggestions. Lots of stuff doesn't line up right yet. There's a bug with excessive margin below images right now (seen in screenshot).

you gonna make it only for jailbroken iPhones? Apple doesn't allow anything 4chan related on its AppStore iirc.

Nothing of value has ever come from github.
There isn't a single software project worth using that has come from github.
Any important software project that appears on github is only a git mirror and doesn't accept pull requests or use the issue tracker.
All of github's site features exist only to enable non-developers to "interact" with software projects in unhelpful ways.
Some examples include
>ability to clone other people's repos without knowing how to use git
>ability to edit code in browser and push commits without knowing how to use git
>ability to create unsolicited and passive aggressive pull requests without knowing how to code
>emoji support, upvotes and social networking features let you feel important without writing a single line of code

It's not uncommon to see github accounts containing nothing but forks of other people's repos, lots of commit activity and zero real code written.
Why do people still treat github like the "de facto" code portfolio site?
Having a github link on your resume is the literal equivalent of having an @yahoo.com email address on your resume.
It's the mark of the self-taught "developer" that doesn't give a shit.

Some projects on GitHub are top notch like mpv, rtorrent and golang.
The thing I hate the most is the social aspect. It looks like a children's playground while it should be dead serious.

I can't find benchmarks for either the ZOTAC or EVGA 1060 Mini versus the full-size cards.

Anyone know how big the performance difference is? I know the EVGA one is clocked ~100MHz higher than the ZOTAC out of the box.

ps. This is not a GPU war thread.

Thinking of upgrading a win 10 laptop to 7, but have a question..

Will the OEM key that's on 10 be able to activate the 7 OS? I'm guessing not because Microsoft even though the laptop was originally win 7 and got downgraded to 20.

Maybe.

If it's 10 Pro, it'll work. If it's Home, you fucc
>>
>>55792755
It won't work. OEM keys are pretty specific to the OEM version of Windows it comes with.
Keep the key though. If you are a Windows user you'll be using Windows 10 sooner or later.

Should I buy the name-brand battery or should buy get two third-party batteries for less?

I mean, what value could I possibly get by going with the name brand in this case, unless if there was a bigger likelihood of frying my tools with a third party battery (which is doubtful)? Would the third party battery maker really use 18650 cells that are that much worse than what Makita would use?

Please help me spend my money wisely.

>>55792537
no guarantee the third party batteries even contain 18650s-- dedicated scammers have been known to put smaller cells inside the casings of big cells

just buy the real battery jamal
>>
>>55792537
They could use used 18650's aand have bad life span or they could do a shotty job of building the devices and have a battery pack explode on you.

>no guarantee the third party batteries even contain 18650s
Eh, I'm not worried about that at all, especially with the Amazon return policy.

>just buy the real battery jamal
Or I can just buy the third party battery and get over 3x more battery for the dollar.

Who /ARM Hacker/ here?

What are the best books resources on ARM Assembly? Specifically useful would be those intended for getting into kernel development.

Just get the manual from arm's website. All the linux stuff is documented in the kernel docs. I don't think there's any specific books for ARM kernel development.
