Why the FUCK aren't we seeing more projector phones or adapters that turn phones into projectors more?
Is projector technology still that shit? I want to be able to project my porn and chinese cartoons on a wall so I don't have to fucking hold my phone like some kind of savage.
Pic related: ZTE Spro wireless smart projector, the only popular phone projector with shit specs from 2015
Wouldn't that drain the battery ridiculously fast?
You can't make a decent projector small enough to fit in a phone chassis. The optics alone are going to be at lest 10 times the size of a phone. So you can stick a cheap shitty projector in your phone and get raped by reviewers because it's shit or just not bother and let people who make already shit phones do it, knowing that it's not going to bring the rest of the package down.
Considering the power drain and dedicated wall space needed to really get the most out of a projector, why not buy a full sized projector instead?
It's not like you'll by overwhelmed with times when you're in a dark room for an extended period of time with a blank wall and an available outlet while 'on the go'
Most people don't want to be a code monkey or generic sysadmin but that's a lot of what this field is.
What are some lesser known /g/ jobs or flavors of the above that are pretty enjoyable and / or pay well?

So I'm trying to understand ram to do an upgrade. I have 4x 4gb 800 mhz ram(in the picture) currently installed.
From what I understand the cpu and board come into play with eachother in terms how the ram will be used.
My cpu is I7-3610QM and my board is MS-1762.
Intel says "DDR3/L/-RS 1333/1600" is supported and it is dual channel on the cpu.
Crucial says my MB is supported with up to 1866mhz DDR3/l/rs/.
What I'm trying to figure out is if my current ram is any good which I'm assuming not because fallout 4 runs like ass and the only thing I can narrow it down to is the ram due to being a ram extensive game.
Also is that dual channel means only 2 of the ram sticks are really being put to use currently and that means only 1600mhz of my 3200mhz is being used. Would that mean I need 2x 8gb of 1600mhz to be getting 3200mhz?

no you assfuck
it's ddr
DOUBLE DATA RATE
it sends once on the up and once on the down
1600 x 2 = 3200

How do you do a desktop like this, /g/? Is there a FULL guide for it?
>>55799067
https://wiki.installgentoo.com/index.php/GNU/Linux_ricing
>>55799067
/g/ OFFICIAL RICE GUIDE
Step 1: install GNU/Linux (recommended (but optional): minimal distro such as arch, gentoo, etc)
Step 2: Install a tiling WM like bspwm or similar
Step 3: use a minimal terminal like urxvt
Step 4: edit config files until riced to your liking
Additional suggested software: dmenu to launch programs, lemonbar if you want a minimal staus bar
There's not much else to it, for that specific kind desktop at least.

Do you think ARM has a chance at toppling the x86 empire now that phones have laptop i3 performance?
>>55798831
The Exyno 8890 is on average substantially behind that i3 in both integer and floating point performance. Remove AES and SHA1 results and there is no advantage shown for the ARM part.
ARMs own A73 isn't much of an improvement over the A72 in raw performance. Its 5%-10% increased performance at 20% reduction in power per op. They aren't even trying to create a chip to compete against X86.
>>55799037
Are you blind m8? The Exyno 8890 scored 65% faster in multi-core integer performance and 3% faster in multi-core floating point performance compared to a 2.4GHz i3-4000M processor.
>>55799090
See all those long blue bars? Thats the i3 offering significantly more performance. The Exynos 8890 pulls ahead by a significant margin only in AES and SHA hashing, because ARM had dedicated accelerators for it.
There are only a select few metrics where the ARM part pulls slightly ahead.
Are you honestly too stupid to read a few graphs?
this is a serious post no troll no porn please :3

its the same shit, if you expect a totally new user experience you're going to be sorely disappointed.
well is just that xfce on debian stable is not the latest and use less ram but dont have bluethoot support , so thats why i chose mate because gnome 3 kde use too much ram and others dont have bluethoot i tought about gnome flashback too but lazy to theme it after
