Can anyone help me with some Python coding? I'm trying to make a program that determines if something is a prime number and tries to find the next one.

print('Welcome to Prime Number Checker!')
num=int(input('Enter a number you would like to check: '))

for i in range(2,num):
if num%i==0:
print('Number is composite.')
break
else:
print('Number is prime and the next prime number is',end=' ')
num+=2

for i in range(2,num):
while num%i==0:

num+=1
i+=1
continue
print(str(num)+'.')

Who is that? Is she important?
>>
For some reason, after "num+=2", it returns "35" as the prime number after 31.
>>
I'm trying to divide a number by every number in a range and look for 0's in the remainder.

Heard people talking about the XFX 4GB RX 480 being able to be flashed and turn into an 8GB model? It sounds complete BS. Is it?

I wouldn't be shocked if they had one production line for these things and locked out 4gb just to save on times.
>>
>>55795749
it works with all early RX 480s, dunno if it's still that way.
>>55795815
is correct.

How long until this video editor becomes a viable solution for Linux users? It already looks pretty nice and seems to be trying to imitate Premiere at the moment. I'm going to give it a spin for my next video.

True, I think they're close to 1.0 official release so a lot of the design is going to change. Any other Linux alternatives for video editing? I want to make Linux my daily driver at some point.

RX 470 for 1080p gaming, is it the best choice?

If not, what is the best price/performance for 1080p and possibly 1440p gaming.

I'm going to give W10 a second chance. My job provides me with a free MSDN subscription so I can use any version I want. Which one should I get? Does Enterprise comes with fucking Candy Crush too? Does it allow me to disable telemetry?

Yes, but no, use iptables on your router.

How long should be a generated random string username? 12 characters? 16?

I'm afraid that if I use something like 13 or 15 someone might be able to track me.
9 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
if it's randomly generated then what are you afraid of people tracking?
>>
>>55795560
Because if my username is 13 character long on every website I registered, someone might connect the dots... whereas if it's 12 character long, it's harder to make a connection because - presumably - more people use 12 character long usernames.

Since some websites don't allow 16 character long usernames, the best choice would be 12, right?
>>
>>55795614
this is insane. are you retarded?

the same random string across sites will sufficiently connect the dots for anyone curious enough to check. if you're worried about this, generate random, variable length strings for each site.

how can you be this concerned about privacy and also be such a naive idiot?

Will you allow your child to bring non-free software into your home as long as it lives under your roof?
22 posts and 4 images submitted.
>>
they will have to use a linux based os that has to be compiled from source.

if my children want a pc, i will only buy them the parts. they will have to assemble it themselves, if they break something during the process, they will have to do chores to earn a replacement part.

then they will have to compile and install their operating system. i will print out all the necessary man pages, but they won't get google or some shit.

after everything is up and running, i will teach them some C or python. once they're able to write small cli based programs, i will buy them a macbook or gaymen windows pc if they want. after that i won't give a shit what they do with their hardware, but i think it's important that they learn how things work before getting to the good stuff.

Not OP, but while your answer is technically acceptable, libreoffice is SUCH utter total horse shit. Formatting, my God it's so fucking awful and it NEVER works properly in that regard. I love typing documents with perfect spacing in every regard and then when my client opens it, it looks like My First Document 2016.

whatever is killing WP?

restricted app ecosystem, poor advertising, old men trying to understand trendiness, treating it as a niche rather than a serious product with wide market appeal?
