1. Because video cards are technology.

2. Slow boards like this one shouldn't be opposed to new users, even if the user base doesn't like them. Annoying users are better than no users at all.

3. Fifty GPU pissing contest threads filled to the bump limit with shitposts aren't as annoying as one post with anime in it.

4. If they made a specific board just for graphics cards, it would have some anime watching waste of valuable resources complaining about /v/ regardless.

5. Because there's nothing you can do about it.

Hello /g/, I just bought the Jaybird X2, it should be arriving tomorrow. One question on mind, how deep are the eartips supposed to go in? I know it is supposed to go inside your ear canal, but how deep?
Does the entire tip have to go deep inside so that it is completely covered by the walls of your ear canal?
Or just half of it goes inside?
Any tips and suggestions would help me, Thanks in advance.

Are passwords like this actually that strong? Wouldn't it be easier for someone to bruteforce them since they already know what characters to look for or what the password's length is if you use the longest acceptable one?
15 posts and 5 images submitted.
>>
Passwords like this are stronger against prying eyes, which is what will affect most common users (if they don't just flat out give their password away via a keylogger, etc.)

Long passwords (like talked about on le ebin xkcd comic) are THEORETICALLY better against bruteforcing, because of how dictionary attacks work. However, when you use a string of real words together, it is much easier to follow the keystrokes used and guess the password manually.

As for me, I prefer the first option, along with a healthy dose of "not being retarded enough to type my passwords on a device that isn't secure".
>>
>>55797865
Yes, they're strong.

It would be easier to bruteforce if the attacker knew your password length, but why would they? 15 char passwords are too difficult to bruteforce anyway

What do you mean already know what characters to look for?
Passwords like this are basically unbreakable, it's obscure - doesn't contain real words, has uppercase, lowercase, symbols and numbers and is very long. Pretty much impossible to break this password without a super computer. My longest password that I can remember is 25 characters long, purely by length this password is insanely strong

Alright this is my PC. I do believe I got this thing at 2009 so it should be around 6 and a half years old. Obviously it is pretty damn shit nowadays.
I live in a third world country where everything is expensive as fuck and I have pretty much no income, just some money saved.
What I need is a budget PC that doesn't cost much but is still rather powerful and somewhat future proof. It should last at least 6-7 years ideally.
Now, this is what I plan to use the PC for and how I am using mine right now.
First of all, the PC will be used for streaming video games. There might be some video editing and whatnot involved too.
As for how I tend to use my PC currently, I like having a billion things open, web browsing with plenty of tabs, skype calling, playing video games, listening to music, streaming and basically all this shit at once (please don't judge me). So I will be needing at least 16GB of ram at least, but about the other things such as what kind of CPU and GPU and so on would be best for this, I have no idea. Please help me build a PC that would suit my needs.

Just find whatever price point suits you, and get 16GB of ram instead of what it suggests, I guess.
>>
>>55797870
Yeah that is very nice but logicalincrements shows you just how well will like 4 games run on that specification. No mention of streaming or anything else I have mentioned in the OP.
I need concrete guide to concrete parts of the OP.

My power supply blew up, melted the power cable to my dvd drive, and inconveniently melted the cable that connects my front panel.

Pic related, it's the gaping hole in the capacitor that blew in my psu.

Anyone else got any inconveniences to share?

I once tried to hotswap a drive.
Actually twice.
The first time I didn't know you were suppose to do that.
The connector sparked up and a gun powdery smell was present.
We also broke the plastic piece of the hard drive that houses the pins for SATA power cable.
The hard drive (WD blue) still worked if you put the plastic piece in the female power connector and slotted in the bare pins.

The second time it was a Seagate barracuda and I didn't know the PC was on. Same thing as above but this time I had to create a jump wire with a copper wire to pass a fuse or diode or something on the PCB.
The drive worked after that.

Moral of the story, don't plug in hard drives in live PC's
