They just don't care enough to make it work. Plus they know most people are still gaming on dual core shit. I was almost impressed that shovel knight was ~150mb until i remembered the snes games they are trying to emulate are ~4mb.

Desmume supports a lot of games and you should check it out. DS support is iffy.
The main problem with emulators is the disconnection with it's users, who provide the support needed to gain more attraction to more developers. If your software is iffy to use and it or relies too much on plugins to function (Project64, for instance), you end up missing out
Also I wonder why an emulator isn't one the projects people on /g/ want to work on.

Hey /g/ents, do you like AI? I do. So, why don't we say fuck the establishment and create a true General AI inside a 3D world before a big company does?
Let's take a 3D environment, and allow it to explore and take in information similar to how we did when we were born. Let's grow in artificial intelligent software inside this 3D World. I read an article the other day about some Australian dude who works out of coffee shops and hacks various companies and collects their bounties. He makes $250,000 / year.
There are companies out there that will pay you $500,000-1,000,000 for a hack of iOS (pic related).
How do I learn this stuff? It would be my dream job to HAXOR TEH GIBSON and make mad cash.
Can /g/ make a curriculum to study this shit to get good so a person can make money finding & reporting bugs and collecting bounties?

You don't need to upgrade. As long as your phone isn't struggling to keep up with processes then you won't NEED an upgrade. If there is a feature that you want that's a different story, but the 7 isn't going to be as big a step from the 4 because you're only skipping one generation of the Note series.
