My LG volt 2 ( a POS btw ) it stuck at the "LG powered by Android boot screen". I have some very important documents on this phones ROM that I need to recover. Mainly QuickMemo notes.
This shit phone has no unlocked bootloader and so no custom recovery. But I can still boot into Stock Recovery. The problem is I don't want to Restore factory settings and lose my important files off the internal ROM.
I found some shady " Android Recovery Tools" software but they look like chink mal-ware with bad reviews.
I need some help guys

ADB Shell. Push and Pull.
Is there any trustworthy software that can recover this data when plugging it into my PC?
Because it seems I can't access the phones internal ROM unless the phone is booted to the home screen.

Is this windows software?
Mind elaborating a lil bit or linking instead of just saying random shit? No disrespect
Looking for some relatively cheap ($100 or less) speakers for my PC. 2 channel is plenty
Any recommendations for brand or specific models I should look for?
Logitech Z323, I'm not actually sure you can still buy them, though.
I bought them brand new for like 40 euro's. Good sound, decent build quality and comes with a subwoofer. Probably one of the best price/quality products.
Dayton B652's and a Lepai lp-2020a+ amplifier.
$80.

Who /Ausfag/ here. I know it's a wrong board but /wsr/ is full of bluepilled normies.
I'm moving to Sydney tonight and I am looking for good ISPs.
I already have spoken to Optus and signed up for their ADSL service. But seems like I made a few mistakes.
>Sagemcom F@st 3864OP has a locked down firmware
>Doesn't allow Bridge mode
All I ever want is to be able to use third party firmware to use Tomato/Open-WRT without choking on high traffic.
Australian ISPs aren't /g/ approved :^)
>Aus
You are entirely fucked. Game over.
>>56264060
>>56264088
Is it that bad?
I get the error: Error -1 when calling clGetDeviceIDs for number of devices.
I know /g/ is not tech support, but I've asked and yet to get a response on both proper bitcointalk threads and Reddit, so here I am (again).
Why do you make me do this anons

>walk into icecream shop
>Ask to get a sample of x flavor to see if you want it
>New software comes out
>Want to try it to see if it is shit or not
>Torrent it to try it out before purchasing
How is it any different?

Because torrenting would be like getting the whole cone and taking a lick
Of course this analogy breaks down because you can't stop eating without wasting the ice cream
I started playing with Elixir and I think it's pretty fun.
Would you recommend it as a first contact with functional programming? Have some tips for a lost beginner like me?

Porn.
In all honestly I had a not google carboard but same thing phone vr, and porn was the best thing with it. Not really useful for anything else. I mostly got it to try a few random vr things to get an idea of what vr is like.

Link to sources?
watching videos is the only good thing. Streaming games from PC to it looks like shit because of the resolution and you need usb tethering to do it on high graphics. That said, get a plastic one. They cost ten dollars more and have a head strap.
Why is this OS so damn great?

I was recently asked to look into a multimedia tool for my local High School where they can slide in plays from the previous quarter/whatever at their football field and display it to a projector about 300 feet from their press box. They wanted it to have a sort of pre-built thing where they can also put birthday shout outs, and advertisements for their sponsors. Any suggestions?

Tiny Intel NUC connected to projector and another display.. Connected to the press box/network via wireless bridges from Engenius/ubiquiti. RDP into Intel NUC. Main display not the projector. Projector is secondary. They just drag stuff over to it to display it. As well, any media file they click starts up on that display. Ifranview for slideshow of sponsors and junk. NUC has 500gb Laptop drive for storing content. I'm sure some company that supplies event locations like Lazer Tags and Chuckie Cheeses sells software for autogenerating a Happy Birthday -so-and-so- image from a name they type. And it could be tossed to the 2nd display like nothing.
Alternatively, call schools/unis/stadiums that have the setup you described, and ask them how much they got fucked for, for their system (It's probably several thousand, plus running service contract for several thousand more a year.

Can we have a thread dedicated to computer cases?
Whats your favorite case that you've seen?
What case are you using currently?
Haf 912 has been serving me well for 2 years now.
oi
Best and smallest mini-ITX case, GO!
Man /g/, it sure does feel good.
>Windows 8.1

>No Cortana using 85MB of RAM
>No telemetry
>No botnet
>No automatic driver updates
>SSD is fully optimized on 8.1 unlike 7
>Memory is better optimized on 8.1 than 7 as well
>Motherboard drivers actually supported
>All the speed and aesthetics of Windows 10
>All the stability and desktop friendliness of Windows 7
Why aren't you using Windows 8.1 with Start8 /g/?

Are there desktop environments for linux that are friendlier to certain flavors of linux? Like, are certain linux distros built to prefer specific DEs?
Is it worth it to go for an M.2 SSD as my boot drive if I'm going to be sticking with Windows 7?
I want to take advantage of the speed of those types of drives in my new build, but I see they can have loads of driver errors and issues in Win7.
So I'm new to Linux and I'm looking to dual boot a distro. Between Debian and Antergos which should I pick?
